No more Alive Tour dates?

So "Europe and more countries" only meant UK... ?

goshipgurl 23rd-Nov-2012 07:44 pm (UTC)
UK = europe
benihime99 23rd-Nov-2012 07:45 pm (UTC)

Messiest tour planning ever
Actually no 2NE1 was worse but still
hipployta 23rd-Nov-2012 07:53 pm (UTC)
All this tells me is that I need to be even more annoyed at my job for not sending me to Korea or Japan.

I thought for sure they were going to go to France though
benihime99 23rd-Nov-2012 07:55 pm (UTC)
Tae thought too apparently
baroness 23rd-Nov-2012 07:56 pm (UTC)
lol ok
chibiyunie 23rd-Nov-2012 08:22 pm (UTC)
Not that surprising tbh
ashiva 23rd-Nov-2012 08:30 pm (UTC)
Well, I'm glad I booked my flight to London show since that's indeed only European city on their tour. Also YG should be careful about those ticket numbers as they are now publicly traded company and shouldn't exaggerate things (not all of their concerts were sold out).
tempestdance 24th-Nov-2012 01:49 am (UTC)
It's okay, they also took some numbers off some concerts - ex: Peru - all the Peru papers said there were 12000-13000 people and YG stuck with 10000.

I honestly think it's because the yen i high plus jvips buy lots of merch so they make more money there
asnindie 23rd-Nov-2012 10:51 pm (UTC)
Japanese merch is really expensive and they make a ton of money there.
shinobu_k 24th-Nov-2012 01:10 am (UTC)
ikr? They buy a lot. I have no idea about BB goods but I wanted my friend to get me INFINITE's t-shirt and it was 4800 yens... JFC it's a normal t-shirt with some words why it's so expensive? In fact the total amount of buying all the goods was 14700 yens. Not fair at all D:
asnindie 24th-Nov-2012 01:13 am (UTC)
That's why Korea wants Japan, no where else would people buy such expensive stuff. I feel bad for Japanese fans some times, treated like a cash machine.
shinobu_k 24th-Nov-2012 01:31 am (UTC)
I'd pay 4800 for a hoodie (maybe) if it's cool enough but not for a t-shirt, that's for sure. And it's funny because their first t-shirt was 1900 (that was only one year ago). So clearly they're getting more money selling goods than tickets and (maybe) that's why international fans aren't the best target to get money from because they know we're not going to pay that much. Idek, sorry I'm rambling ^^u

they make insane bank in Japan and it's not expensive or time consuming to set up a venue or work with promoters bc yg has a relationship with avex and their promoters.</p>

anywhere else, they have to rebuild those types of relationships

tempestdance 24th-Nov-2012 01:51 am (UTC)
it's so ridiculous how obsessed YG is with Japan. JVIPs don't even buy all that many albums; they just go for the concerts. Seriously, 13 concerts in Japan and 3 in Korea? And even for those 3 there were tons of seats separately reserved for Japan fans. -_-
benihime99 24th-Nov-2012 08:00 am (UTC)
Makes sense since Japan is the second biggest market for music, far more accessible than the US one
tempestdance 24th-Nov-2012 09:25 am (UTC)
still doesn't excuse them for letting them take over the concerts in KOREA.
benihime99 24th-Nov-2012 09:42 am (UTC)
Always follow the money I guess
odd_fish_stick 23rd-Nov-2012 09:08 pm (UTC)
they need like 3 more so they can push it over a million :3
tees2mai 23rd-Nov-2012 09:14 pm (UTC)
it's more like a japan tour featuring some other countries :/

why do they have three concerts in hong kong?
naturalhonee 24th-Nov-2012 03:24 am (UTC)
demand was high?
i dunno about anywhere else, but the first 2 concert dates in HK sold out within less than half an hour.
benihime99 24th-Nov-2012 07:58 am (UTC)
Isn't that kinda long for a k-pop concert oversea? *honest question here*
I remember SMtown sold in 5 to 10 minutes...
Were the BB ticket expensive for China?
prdarkstar 24th-Nov-2012 06:25 pm (UTC)
For SMtown I imagine you have a bunch of fandoms going for tickets while for BB it's just VIPs
benihime99 24th-Nov-2012 07:16 pm (UTC)
Well, I have a lot of non-VIP friends who wanted to go just because "K-pop in my country" so idk
xxmannequin 23rd-Nov-2012 09:24 pm (UTC)
No more for Europe, of course. Thanks anyway.. ~world tour~.
iamsupernova 23rd-Nov-2012 09:41 pm (UTC)
39,000+? tickets were available to fans in Korea
36,000 tickets were available to fans in North America
10,000 tickets were available to fans in South America
14,000 tickets were available to fans in Europe
455,000 tickets were available fans in Japan
mizzyoung 23rd-Nov-2012 11:32 pm (UTC)
Grade A bullshit t b h
staaan 23rd-Nov-2012 10:01 pm (UTC)
i'm pressed tbh and idek why because it's not like this is surprising in the least

not like i was expecting them to come to my flop country but NEWSFLASH there are like fifty countries in europe so a little variety would be nice
halfslytherin 23rd-Nov-2012 10:23 pm (UTC)
mte. i'm so pressed...
benihime99 23rd-Nov-2012 10:26 pm (UTC)
What was the point of having a "Europe and more countries" category when Europe=UK and "more countries" are nonexistent
verinka1 24th-Nov-2012 12:52 am (UTC)
I'm also really pressed right now...
yumett 23rd-Nov-2012 11:59 pm (UTC)
"So "Europe and more countries" only meant UK... ?"

This. :(

What a joke. i'm glad i didn't wait for 'more' dates to come up and just bought my tix for London.
purechy914 24th-Nov-2012 03:08 am (UTC)
At least you guys were given a general idea... Canadians were trolled so hard when the concert director said there was definitely going to be a tour stop in Toronto... which never appeared on the stop list.
liarose 24th-Nov-2012 03:56 am (UTC)
promoters playing a big role for a concert to happen. why blaming it all to YG?
benihime99 24th-Nov-2012 07:55 am (UTC)
Promoters, people like live nation can't book a place if YG only give them a 2 months notice.
Apparently they tried to book one of the most famous parisian venue 2 months in advance; That may work in Korea but not in Europe for instance and that is all YG.
Live nation can't do miracles
hushmydarling 24th-Nov-2012 04:50 am (UTC)
because japan is where the $ is at obviously

they obv had plans for other countries but saw how much demand they were in japan so they replaced them all with japan dates. CANADA HATES YOU, YG, CANADA HATES YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU
sexyryu28 24th-Nov-2012 06:47 am (UTC)
I think that the ridiculous amount of Japan concerts is b*llsh!t. That is all. Plain b*llsh!t. iVIPs aren't all in japan. Not only do they get double digits dates but special goodies and crap. GTFO!
soramai 24th-Nov-2012 08:43 am (UTC)
meh, they would. :/
