It has been announced that Wonder Girls‘ Sun will be tying the knot with her boyfriend next year!
As fans know, Sun has often expressed her sincere and deep affections for her significant other, so this announcement may not come as a complete surprise, but it is one that has come quite sooner than expected!

Wonder Girls’ leader Sun (Min Sunye), an artist under our agency, will be getting married on January 26th of next year.
Sun, who debuted in 2007 and led the Wonder Girls as their leader for six years, recently informed the agency as well has the Wonder Girls’ members about her intentions, and understanding that her decision has come after much thought, we have decided to respect her decision.
Sun will be focusing on her marriage and family life for the time being, and the other members of Wonder Girls will be concentrating on individual activities such as acting, producing, solo albums, and broadcast activities.
We hope for many messages of congratulations and encouragement.

i expected her to marry soon, but not this soon. i am weirdly emotional over this, it's like i am seeing an old friend get married, i've been a sunye, and WG, fan for so long, and i've seen these girls at the top of the game, being the untouchable queens of kpop, to start all over again in the usa, as rookies, and never loosing their charm, always being so humble, especially sunye, whose dignity and talent always shone so bright. if WG overcame all their troubles was without a doubt because they had sunye as their leader, especially since she is one of the few people who is a true leader, instead of just having it as the name of a position in the group, without actually being one.
now i wonder what will be of WG, i believe the group will enter on a hiatus for a little while, as she enjoys her married life for a few months. i believe yenny is the one to go to producing, and sohee probably will try return to acting, but i’m curious about the activities the girls will have.
and to end, can someone call donghae and ask him how he feels? and lol, whatever ever happened to shindong's girlfriend?

They've already grown so much in the past few years and I think all these "real world" experiences (living abroad like normal teens/20-somethings, traveling, working with different musical talents, now getting MARRIED) are only gonna make them even better as a group when they eventually come back together. And they've always been so relatable/approachable to fans that it really seems like seeing someone you know move forward in life.
i feel so old seeing some of my favourite celebs i've liked for a while get married.
