not enough people watching it :(
and i used to think that about running man... but i'm glad i returned to watching it (subjective opinion i know!) after skipping some episodes in the middle.

song couple used to be my OTP and I think the group dynamic has changed?
is it really still interesting or depending on the guests?

it depends on the guests, but that's the format of the show unfortunately. lately they've gotten more athletes and less idols to come on, which leads to better games, and i don't think it's as scripted and boring (less of those true love and spy themes at least).
i felt song couple was too forced but it doesn't help that the writers kept on pushing monday couple to happen. the earliest episodes are definitely the best, but the recent ones are fun.

I actually enjoyed the ep with the athletes a lot and also the quirky or competitive actors/actresses like Ji Jin Hee, etc. Makes for a very thrilling game. The ones where they create unnecessary drama like Gwangsu's betrayal are what bores me.

Oh really? I stopped (around ep90+) because I felt it was getting too scripted - did you watch the episodes after that? What would be a good point to start from?

uh. backtracking makes me realize exactly how many episodes i skipped.
i liked eps 108+, with a few episodes i didn't really care for but had some nice moments. also park ji sung specials (96,97) were fun.
