merry christmas omona! here's some gossip for y'all

1. Famous actress 'A' is said to be hitting on rich married men left and right. Her brand name bags and the apartment she's living in now are all said to have been gifts from these men. Lately, insiders have noticed that she's been trying hard to look like she's living the life of the wealthy, but those around her are supposedly sick of this hypocritical behavior. She was once sued by the wife of one of the men but the man canceled the lawsuit, proving just how charming she must be to them...

2. Another top actress 'B' is said to use any man she can if it's for the success of her career. She always leaves herself open to advances from any powerful men. She recently broke up with 'C' who had stuck with her through her long rookie period once once of her projects hit success but is now trying to get back with him after finding out that 'C' is doing just as well.

3. Actor 'B' is the hot topic of TV drama officials for his arrogant attitude. The young star has grown to becoming the lead roles after the successes of several dramas. The growth of his love calls unfortunately has also meant the growth of his arrogance. He's also taken to ignoring the broadcast companies and PDs that have made him who he is today. One official said, "Before his popularity, he would treat everyone well and everyone used to talk about how respectful he was. Seemingly overnight, he's changed so much that it's put everyone in utter shock. If this is who his true self really is, he's a great actor off screen as he is onscreen."

I really don't want #4 to be Super Junior. There's a rumour from a few months ago posted by forxreal that says some of the members want to leave to CJeS like JYJ did.
imienazwisko 25th-Dec-2012 11:00 am (UTC)
WHO?? Some of them seem really loyal, but tbh once Leeteuk is kinda gone for a while, it can happen... but who would like to get in JYJ position now? SM will ruin your life once you rebell.

She's some random person who apparently knows inside stuff about the K-Pop industry. You can only access her posts through Google Reader now. Don't know if she's legit or not but what she writes is interesting to say the least.

This is from her post 1 August 2012:
"Entertainment is very iffy.
There are always a million threats and a company can say they will do A and then 5 seconds later they do B.
It's really annoying for everyone whether it is an outsider or an insider.
I see groups seconds from breaking up, and then literally 2 days later they have all resigned contracts.
It would be no surprise if 70% of Kpop is bipolar or have multiple personality disorder.

Which leads me to this huge group.
It's about time some of them go to the army.
Some of their contracts are coming to an end.
Some are unhappy about having to share profits.
Others are unhappy about special treatment.
Others are completely happy with the company.
In any case there are some problems within this group despite what they show on TV.
The biggest issue regarding this...
Some of the members have been looking into a rival company that caused drama for the company in the past.
Losing to this other company TWICE would be a BIG blow.
The company won't be able to do anything this time.
They can't because this time it won't just be a slap on the wrist.
So the company has to keep the artists with them, or a the least not lose them to this other company.
It's amazing how everything turns out.
I'm amazed at how much guts this other company has.
They are 100% a downgrade.
Money is not ALWAYS the right decision.
This is probably a horrible way to compare and contrast but it's the best I could do.
It's like living like a millionaire but with constant security and no alone time. You have everything you want and need and the finest of the finest, but you don't really have a million dollars in your name, but you're definitely provided for. Except no freedom.
So you're living like this and then decide enough is a enough.
So you move to some war torn country in the middle of no where. You have maids and drivers and you live in a mansion. You might as well be a damn King. But then the whole country is in the middle of a civil war. There is famine and drought. You have all this money but you can't do a single thing. You live in a nice house, but everyday you have to work even harder to repair your house from the war damage and you never feel completely safe even if your own home.
So that's what it's like.
You pick the lesser of the two evils.
I like the original company because they are professional in every way.
At least the lead managers are.
Some of their outsourced workers are shitty but once again, they are outsourced.
Some of their kids are rude, but they typically do what they are told.
The managers rarely give people hard times and if they do you reach out to someone higher up and things are usually fixed.
But the other company... people are ALWAYS changing and the damn atmosphere might as well be dante's inferno.
I hate working with this other company. A few of their artists may be hard to work with, but their managers are worse."

Wow. Interesting :)
But kinda confusing... Is SM the first described company?
cleopatra25 29th-Dec-2012 02:10 am (UTC)
In the first paragraph?
I think she's talking about K-Pop companies in general so nothing too specific but in the last paragraph she insinuates that she works for CJeS so Idk. Maybe she's worked for a few companies before to know this stuff.
This is all based on the assumption that she isn't making up complete bullshit of course.
asnindie 25th-Dec-2012 03:31 pm (UTC)
It seems like Siwon wants out atleast, idk about the rest. But I doubt Heechul wants to comeback and sing bingo songs.
cleopatra25 26th-Dec-2012 01:34 am (UTC)
Haha yeah.
And Eunhyuk is best friends with Junsu so he already has a foot out the door.
Who knows what could happen?
Leeteuk may have delayed his military service because he was trying to keep all the members in check. He must be so stressed as the leader.

Well I have heard that forxreal is not legit, though I do have her on googlereader. Honestly all of her tips mostly sound legit, but that's because what she says is based off knowledge about groups that could be obtained from many other sources, general fan impressions and even what group's themselves say. Leeteuk has ever mentioned that income distribution contributes to friction in the group. I do think that SJ generally accept this is the best deal they will get, they had a chance to leave when Hangeng did--he proved it's not impossible and that was a time where SJ's future looked very tenuous. But they stayed and many even asserted during the JYJ lawsuit that SM had given them a good deal. I wouldn't worry about Eunhyuk, he doesn't have the same motivation to go that Junsu had, this person wrote extensively about why JYJ wanted out and it's not because of harsh work conditions and unfair contracts--even though personally I do think that the work hours are tough and artist royalties in the music business in general are pathetic.

*nods* I agree with what you said. Seems logical.
Ah, I've been on that website before. I haven't read the whole thing but I have read Changmin and Yunho's fathers' statements and listened/read the translation from the 6.25 meeting which was proof enough for me to understand the situation. I was really bitter and disappointed with JYJ's parents. I'm not ready to blame the boys themselves yet although I do know that they were adults at the time so they 100% knew what they were doing. It's really unfortunate what happened to DBSK. :/
Anyway, fingers crossed Super Junior will stay strong!
jorge_callas 26th-Dec-2012 03:52 pm (UTC)
I think many companies have a way of brainwashing people they want to recruit as sellers or investors and generally get the people to shut out anyone who points out the company's bad points to them. Multi level sellers like Amway often do it to their recruits. I think that may have happened to JYJ and family--compared to Yunho and Changmin their families have less education.

Yeah, if they suddenly disband a part of my heart will die.

4 sounds like Sistar to me. Could be Miss A as well, the careers of everyone that isn't Suzy make me so sad.
hagar_tammaa 25th-Dec-2012 01:33 pm (UTC)
min got ripped off debuting in that group tbh
supplanter 26th-Dec-2012 01:32 am (UTC)
Everyone in that group got ripped off, really.

(Although I wonder... half of the group is Chinese and the A stands for Asia, so were they supposed to try to break into China? Did Suzy's success in acting work jettison that, and is that why they just sit around doing nothing 10 months out of the year?)
lysblack 26th-Dec-2012 09:23 pm (UTC)
as i commented before, it cannot be miss a because of the money issues, if it was wise management i would believe, but the girls are winning big bucks when not doing anything thanks to the maknae, all the money suzy gets goes to them as well, she only keeps to herself the acting income.
hellicoptajuuce 25th-Dec-2012 12:51 pm (UTC)
is 9# Soohyun or Jokwon, remember when people thought they were totz gay for each other because they were really touchyfeely and kept messaging 'i love you~' to each other on twitter or whatever? that could've been a cover for secret marriage 0_0
lysblack 26th-Dec-2012 09:27 pm (UTC)
#4 cannot be miss a because of the money factor, if it was management, i would believe it.

i'm curious about #3, but i don't think it's kim soo hyun like so many said because he keeps in touch with his old cast and crew of different projects.

and lol at octopus dater.
soramai 5th-Jan-2013 11:52 pm (UTC)
