Princess Jiyoung's tight outfit from 'God of Victory' met with mixed reviews

Jiyoung‘s outfit from a past airing of ‘God of Victory‘ has been gaining attention.

The photo was brought to attention when it was recently uploaded an online community board under the title 'Jiyoung is an adult now'. The photo showed her full figure while stepping down from the ‘God of Victory’ stage back in September. She wore a tight pale gold outfit that didn’t leave much up to imagination.

Upon seeing the photo, netizens commented, "She has the best body", "She’s so pretty", and "I’m looking forward to her". However, others commented, "She’s underage. Does her company really want to dress her like this?", "This is more lingerie than actual clothes", and otherwise showed expressed their discomfort seeing an underage celebrity in such tight clothing.

What do you think?

I'm kind of torn tbh.

Yes, she's underage and it's wrong to sexualise young girls, but on the other hand, if she picked this outfit, then she should be free to wear it.
gyuri 25th-Dec-2012 05:52 am (UTC)
she's not young. she's 19 in korea (her birthday is on jan 18th, making her an adult), and 18 internationally.
beanii 25th-Dec-2012 05:54 am (UTC)
That Camel toe tho'

I personally think the outfit is ugly, but that has nothing to do with it.
She's free to wear whatever.
scarletfbl 25th-Dec-2012 06:24 am (UTC)
I thought it was a camel toe if you could see lips...
in_noctem 25th-Dec-2012 05:58 am (UTC)
That just looks like a really unflattering outfit.

And I still can't believe she's only 18.
pamuya 25th-Dec-2012 06:08 am (UTC)
color washes her out, but rock what you got gorl.
45s 25th-Dec-2012 04:43 pm (UTC)
Mte.
bettiepepper 25th-Dec-2012 06:20 am (UTC)
I guess I'm just used to more sexualized outfits but I think it's fine. I'm not crazy about the color.
purekpopology 25th-Dec-2012 06:21 am (UTC)
If she's okay with wearing it, she can go on with her bad self, but honestly it's not very flattering.
scarletfbl 25th-Dec-2012 06:23 am (UTC)
Gawd, people are just freaked out because they can see the outline of her ...pubic region and it makes their pubic regions feel weird/inadequate.
illustratedd 25th-Dec-2012 06:41 am (UTC)
Well I personally think it's a hideous thing to wear but she can wear woteva she wants.
obviousgirl 25th-Dec-2012 06:44 am (UTC)
Wow that is one ugly ill fitting outfit.
iftheshoefits88 25th-Dec-2012 06:45 am (UTC)
that just looks like her pandora outfit minus the jacket..
921227 25th-Dec-2012 06:49 am (UTC)
MTE so I've no idea what people are kicking a fuss up about.
neoreulwonhae 25th-Dec-2012 07:31 am (UTC)
That is not a "full figure", Korea. She has the hips of a 12 year old boy.
memorian 25th-Dec-2012 08:06 am (UTC)
That means "Full Figured" in Korea Sadly. What we consider Full Figure, would just be considered fat over there...
lynethia 25th-Dec-2012 07:49 am (UTC)
Still can't get over how she's only 18. She looks older than that facially.
moronicus_kyla 25th-Dec-2012 11:36 am (UTC)
I'd only stop her from wearing it because it's a fug outfit -- that color is really bad :|
itskimbitches 25th-Dec-2012 11:40 am (UTC)
You would think with the way they're dressing their idols kpop is in a recession. Come on Kara put that yen towards better material.
markthatcoin 25th-Dec-2012 08:13 pm (UTC)
lmao yen
zeli17 25th-Dec-2012 11:56 am (UTC)
They're uncomfortable with this and yet Hyunah has her hoohaa out everywhere?

Wtf?
annhh 25th-Dec-2012 12:41 pm (UTC)
ikr
dio_elaclaire 25th-Dec-2012 12:00 pm (UTC)
it's ugly. especially the colour. not flattering at all.
lobotronic 25th-Dec-2012 12:27 pm (UTC)
for those who don't know, 20 is usually the age you are considered a real "adult" in Korea. Jiyoung was born in Jan. of 1994, which makes her 18 (19 next month).

she is legal, but not exactly legal in Korea. sort of legal? it's a weird gray area.

whatever. SK's body policing continues.
annhh 25th-Dec-2012 12:54 pm (UTC)
from sports point of view I fail to see the fuss over ~tightness~

it's kind of fugly without the jacket. and it actually might not be her choice to wear it, but as a team I think she's okay with it (think cheerleaders, figure skaters). idols all have too tight and too revealing stuff from time to time, at least this isn't pervy
cwazy_weiven 25th-Dec-2012 02:00 pm (UTC)
Underage or adult, I don't see why anyone would want to wear such an ugly ass outfit.
kawaiikame 25th-Dec-2012 05:36 pm (UTC)
It's no where near flattering and I'm not even sure how she feel comfortable with an outfit like that but like the other had mentioned, if she's the one who choose to wear it then I guess it's up to her. From my own perspective I would think it's a bit too tight and unflattering :|
b1gay4 25th-Dec-2012 07:09 pm (UTC)
camel toe.
that's what i think.
soramai 25th-Dec-2012 10:14 pm (UTC)
what an ugly outfit, it's all i can think about.
kanbinayume 25th-Dec-2012 10:21 pm (UTC)
pandora outfit though, it's not like this is her everyday play romper
supplanter 26th-Dec-2012 12:53 am (UTC)
Fug outfit; probably better with the jacket. Standard stagewear, though. I actually appreciate that the cross-straps probably helps it stay on/tones down the cleavage effect. OTOH, I'm not convinced she's got much in the way of boobage, either. I mean, the cups are outlined there, and who knows if there's padding in there too.

She looks beautiful and she's pretty much legal. I've seen worse at children's beauty pageants and my sister's friends bikinis. Lay off netizens.
