I don't understand why everyone is so dismissive about the fact that American labels are interested in her - talent was never the BIGGEST factor in music industry (America or anywhere) and I think her stage presence and dance ability make up for any lack of singing ability. She's hot and she's already got some exposure - I actually really hope she makes it in US. It will be so fun to watch everybody else sputter.

She was practically sleepwalking through the Ice Cream stages though. Frankly I think she might be sick of the songs she has to sing to cater to her image - or she's sick of her image, or the haters that come along with it.

The girls' songs sound like girl group songs, the boys' songs belong on drama OST

I was preparing my heart rate from the imminent swooning caused by Dynamic Black! (I actually gave a sigh of relief when the beat finally dropped in Black's song... I thought it was gonna be ballin!)

They took all the main vocals for Dramatic Blue and gave them this awkward semi-dance track? Why are they dancing?! Should have given them a really nice ballad or something! This song sounds like it could be sung by five year olds at a church choir.

Eh... not really feeling any of these. If I had to pick, I'd choose Red and Blue. I like Tearfully Beautiful up until the chorus.

the boys songs sound like what 1324235nugus groups come out with this year, not interesting. also the vocal arrangement in both songs were a bit off? Idk they didn't compliment each other voices.

I actually like Red's song. I already figured it was a Sistar styled/ recycled song from Inkigayo when they were talking on the show and the song was playing in the background. I actually had to go back to Hyuna's rap part caz it just came and went for me. The positive part is that they didn't make her use the cutesy voice for the rap. She sounds better without doing that.

I was only really in interested in the Red and Black Teams anyway. Right now I like their songs better. I'm interested in seeing how the underwater scenes for the White team and the angsty scenes for the Black team look after editing.

mystic whites song is so cute i think its my favorite out of the bunch, but i cant get over how basic and shitty dazzling reds is :( Like My queen is it in two of my favorite girls are in it and its just so damn boring and shitty. One of the biggest disappointment of the year in kpop to me. I had really high expectations when these groups were announced and all the songs sound like fillers on a cd that I would never listen to twice. So boring. But if I had to pick one that I somewhat like, then it would be Black.

So just keep in mind, Kpop can do a whole lot worst than it already does.
But, I agree with you overall with Kpop in general.
This year has been pretty lackluster...started off pretty strong then fizzed prematurely.

I actually like Black's song? Which I'm happy about because it's the group I'm interested in, since, JINWOON and HOYA. Could've been better, but it's 1000x better than Blue's, lol.

Why do I rarely like girl groups' songs? D: I don't like Red; it does sound like a Sistar song and I don't like Sistar. I'd take White if I had to choose no matter what.

My favorite is the Mystic White song, which surprised me because I thought it was going to be stupidly cutesy and that I would dislike it. Out of all of the tracks, I think it gets closest to being something fresh and new. It kinda reminds me of this K-indie song, but I can't quite place which song it is...

Just like I was afraid of, Red doesn't bring anything new to the table and it just sounds like an ill-prepared cover of a Sistar song. The chorus doesn't go anywhere and no part of it succeeds in catching my interest, which is a shame.

I keep on thinking that the line in Blue's song is "Slow" instead of "This love." It's an okay song, but again, doesn't bring anything new to the table. It sounds like a typical song you give to ballad singers so that they have something more upbeat to sing (perhaps evocative of Cho Youngsoo's work?). Except it doesn't really show off their vocals as well as I'd like.

Black's song sounds like it ought to be playing in the background of a drama while there is a long sequence of the main guy running. Also an okay song, but there isn't much of a climax for me and the parts that are supposed to be climaxes fall short.

Overall, all the songs are fine, but not that exciting. I like them well enough, but I'm not in a hurry to listen to them over and over again.
