Kara’s Han Seung Yeon Tells Anti-Fans Exactly How She Feels

Kara‘s Han Seung Yeon recently let anti-fans know that she’s had the last straw.

On December 24, she tweeted, “Netizens who hide in anonymity and claim to represent the masses, do you feel powerful and all-knowing just because you become part of this group?”

She went on, “After standing by and watching, I couldn’t help but say something because it’s just embarrassing to tolerate it any further. If you find something offensive, you don’t have to watch it. If you don’t like it, you can just let it be. Do you always have to express how you feel in order to be satisfied? Well thank you for letting me know.”

She ended her rant by saying, “Look here. You’re wasting your time when you try to ruin the mood of someone you truly dislike. I’m going to be spending my precious time with good people and working hard, so no need to worry about me. Just think about it. Who is the one that needs a reality check?”

Netizens who saw Han Seung Yeon’s tweet commented, “She’s right, lately anti-fans have truly crossed the line,” “Live up to higher standards. Enough with cursing people out,” and “Don’t worry too much anti-fans, they like it more when you give them attention.”

I'll never get sick of idols actually sticking up for themselves, and not taking crap they shouldn't have to.

I hope she isn't referring just to the comments of random people on news articles and forums, because those can be easily avoided (though they can be quite nasty). While I do think idols should have a thick skin to a pint, the anti fan behavior really gets out of hand sometimes, and its nice to see an idol call them out. I hoe she can find a way to block/ignore all the negative messages she gets on twitter or wherever so she can only respond to her fans.

I really don't understand what creates these anti fans. Most idols are the most inoffensive brand of celebrity there is: they don't have scandals, they (mostly) don't say stupid things, they don't run their mouths about politics or social issues, they're just harmless celebs.

Lol, i remembered reading someone's comment in omona that that a certain idol like a douche based on his face. So i guess even if the celeb doesn't do anything, their face can ignite people hateness towards the celeb.

People could get anti-fans (or haters, they're the same thing, right?) just coz' they HAVE fans. I mean, look at Justin Bieber and One Direction.

I agree. There are some people who hate things just because they're popular.
