Netizen who claimed to be T-ara's backdancer currently being detained by police

The netizen who claimed to be T-ara‘s former backdancer earlier this year and fanned the flames of alleged bullying within the group has been detained at Gangnam police station.
The Gangnam police station’s cyber crime team announced that “netizen A”, who allegedly wrote that Jiyeon slapped Hwayoung for a small mistake during practice, is being accused for defamation of character. However, netizen A is claiming that he simply spread the rumor, and that he was not the writer of the original post.
A representative from the police station stated, “After [rumors of] Hwayoung being bullied came out, the news spread instantly, and because the original post was deleted, it took a long time [to investigate]. We were unable to find the originator of the post. Because it’s still an ongoing investigation, we can’t reveal any more details.”
The cyber crime team explained, “Whether the statements by the person who misrepresented himself as T-ara’s backdancer are fact or fiction, because the statements could have had made [the group's] image suffer, it’s possible that maliciously spreading the post could be considered defamation of character.”

The truth always reveals itself in the end. Let's hope the rest are finally hunted down by the police!
Fuck T-error and their character, defamed or not.
so if that's the case doesn't that mean it might not be netizen A and he could be telling the truth
i think you're biased.
it's ok they'll still have a career anyway.
While Hwayoung...
THAT IS WHO CARES
I know there are bigger issues within kpop that need addressing like saesangs, but that doesn't mean this doesn't deserve attention. To the members of T-ara this rumor (if it was a lie) really did damage to their reputations and career. Besides dealing with scorn from netizens and probably even people they met at schedules/in their daily lives, I'm sure many people who were going to offer them work changed their mind.
If someone at my work started a rumor about me, and because of that rumor my coworkers treated me differently, and I didn't get a promotion or something because of it, I would be insanely angry! That person would deserve to be punished, because my ability to succeed effected.
Tough case but like, kinda pointless as kks did the most damage to their careers than this rumor.
I wonder why korean gossip sites are still open then.
im pretty sure this one guy is the least of their problems...
this brave soul was doing nothing but telling the TRUTH. trying to end the bullying spread by t-error members like Jiyeon
but no. the hands their equally as deceptive and treacherous CEO has no doubt paid off some police members to arrest and submerge the truth in his vileness!
Sisters and brothers, dongsaengs alike, my people! if you crave, if you long, if you THIRST for justice, you will join me in my cause for RIGHTEOUSNESS. for too long, my dongsaengs, for too long as this evil been allowed to spread, it's creep now spread along the law, a law that was supposed to be for justice. but now it serves a lower master, that of greed, that of hatred, that of CCM.
WELL I SAY NO MORE. WE WILL HAVE JUSTICE FOR HWAYOUNG. WE WILL SEE THE TREACHEROUS T-ERROR PUT TO SHAME AND PUT TO JUSTICE.
i guess the unfortunate thing is if it was all lies, then there will always be people out there who refuse to accept the truth. and if it's not lies then ... well, those girls are the ones that have to live with themselves.
TBH, I'm side-eyeing even AKP, who changed one of their article titles to make T-ARA sound bad (think it was "Boram damages Hwayoung's umbrella?" to "Boram destroys Hwayoung's umbrella!").
