“Spectrum” is a cover of a song with the same name that appeared on DJ Zedd‘s second single. The track is an electronic dance track which showcases the strong performance skills of the dance unit.

OMG it's so awesome, this is probably the first SM inter-group group song that i like...and it's not original LMAO. It was smart of SM to just come to the gayo with their own group it was like a big fuck you imo

My body is ready for this song to be performed at an SMTown concert. Mostly because I want Donghae and Yunho on stage at the same time some other time than when they perform Hope...

Still boggling that after many years of wishing and complaining, Yunho is finally in a main special stage/group. Need moar.

Yet Changmin is once again, absent or just lolol no. Better than Maxstep for sure!

This is probably one of the best group songs that SM has ever released, which is actually really sad because it's a cover o.O But the dance performance was probably one of the most epic things I have seen in my life and I fangirled so hard over Yunho and Donghae because I could hardly contain my feels after seeing all of that unf!!! XD

On a serious note though...Taemin, Donghae and Yunho were basically the only ones to get any lines in this song o___O This cover is still freaking awesome though!!! XD ^_____^

i guess SM learned that you should leave EDM to those specialised in the different genres and not your regular in-house DJs. Do we know who produced MAXSTEP?

I say have both groups and have alternating promotions, or maybe a mini concert or two with the groups together. Showcase the dancers and the vocalists, let them all shine in ways they don't get to in their respective groups.

But yyyeah, either they need to bring back SM the Ballad or Jino just needs to debut. He was so good and so cute, bless his little heart. ;w;

I like Spectrum, but I still prefer Maxstep out of the inter-group songs. ^^ I feel like I'm the only one, but like Maxstep is my jam.

I can't stop watching that performance. With SM releasing a full-length version of this cover, I hope they also release an mv for this song, or at least a dance practice video.

Not my fave, but hell of a lot better than Maxstep.

SM should bring back the Ballad and have the two groups either alternate promotions or do something together. I love the intergroup collaborations, tbh.
