Big Bang to focus on solo activities after their world tour ends

After Big Bang finishes their world tour, the members will be shifting their focus to promoting solo activities.

The five members will be finishing up their world tour in Seoul from the 25th to the 27th. After the finale, the members will be promoting under their own individual names and not under the name of Big Bang.

G-Dragon will be going on a solo world tour, and will even be having a 3-dome tour in Japan for the first time as a Korean solo artist. He is also planning to release a new song within the first half of the year.
T.O.P has been filming for his movie ‘Alumni‘, and will continue to work on the movie for a bit more. He previously stated, “It’s currently 90% finished.” Fans are also looking forward to see him act again in dramas as well this year.

Taeyang and Daesung are currently working on their own solo albums. Daesung’s Japanese solo album, ‘D’scover‘, is set for release at the end of February, and he is planning his solo concert as well.

Seungri has also been cast in a drama on NipponTV. Even though he has constantly been promoting in Japan, this year Seungri is planning to promote in Korea as well.

YG talked about a comeback summer 2013, so 2015 is probably a good guess

You see, it's only logical. YG lets each member do a solo, and they don't really overlap. TOP will probably participate in a drama or a movie which will take 6 months to a year to film. YG also has a problem promoting more than 1 group at a time, and between 2NE1, Gummy, Se7en, Psy, his new girl group, and the girls from KPOP Star or whatever that show is called, he has 2 years' worth of promotional material. BB will probably release a single somewhere inbetween, but they won't have a huge comeback until 2015.

May I add that "huge comeback" will probably mean a mini cause full is so overrated

No doubt. YG is the King of Minis. :/ It is annoying. Thankfully, at least for me, I prefer BB's solo activities to their group ones, so I'm not too sore.

I'm not a huge fan or GD nor Taeyang so I don't really care
But if we get a Dae or a Panda solo or even a GD&TOP vol. 2 I'd be really happy

Haha we're opposites (except for the GD&TOP solo. Love that pair) Even though I'm a Dae fan, I found most of his releases too bland to really get excited for his solo. :/ As for Seungri, No. Just no. Strong Baby was so catchy it snuck up on my psyche, but the rest is just no. XD

Dae has so much potential but I'm not excited for his japanese solo at all.

GD&TOP is what really got me into BB and I really want that back. I'd love a solo for TOP too but he said he doesn't like to promote solo so I don't see it happening
