I didn't know about him slipping in tracks, that's cute. lol, probably is his fault too. I wonder if he gets heavily influenced by the R&B he listens to the most and just mimics/pays homage/whatever the term to where he forgets about his voice's comfort zone. Oh you know what - I misunderstood what you said. For whatever reason I immediately got a mental image of hundreds of idols running some track race - meaning they were too busy keeping the idol image and just doing as told by management with the hopes of doing as they please artistically one day. What happens when you stay up to 4am. Excuse me.

But you are right. I don't really see why they should be irked; even if it isn't music promo, the other members are seen in other ways - acting, variety, etc instead of hiding out completely (even though they deserve a rest every now and again). I would like to see real bts stuff and wish they were allowed to be completely honest and straight-forward in interviews - it would be interesting to know how things are created/how they think. Or a day in the YG building would be even more interesting lol.

I wonder why he doesn't/isn't made to do any other solo activities, besides musically?

I agree, they are. One of the most honest groups but...I suppose I just can't completely get through the stark difference between K-Pop and American celebrity. Like the sit down "exclusive" and personal interviews big artists give from time to time where the honest cap is a bit bigger. For most part, even if its speculation, shit just comes out in other fandoms, whether good or bad - who's dating who, who broke up with who and why, someone actually doesn't want to get married at 35, X wrote this song b/c of the bad break up with Y, A doesn't really get along with B, and so forth. I can't get with the facade they have to put up to protect the fantasies of the fanbase by being some sort of fantastical creatures that aren't "corrupted." They're human. I respect privacy but sometimes I feel like they want to say something or joke but ending up only alluding (or hell, maybe they don't want to). Though Suengri cares a bit less lol. For Ex. I think BB are getting tired/old/care less/have enough solid fandom to relax more...as shown by recent ventures (non-musically). Idk...a lot of us will hardly ever get to be in the same vicinity as these guys, but more intimate details sort of gives the impression that you know a good amount of what goes through their head and lives. ...Or maybe a lot of should just not be too nosy?

I really liked the idea of the countdown live "show" during GD's OOAK comeback. When he had Tae and Dae as guests they seemed more themselves and laidback. Even Tae kept insisting they should be more open with fans and kept trolling Dae about his ~mysterious~ adventures in Japan.

too bad they haven't picked up Ustream (YG on Air/Naver stream)

Oh man, that would be great. I wonder if people who are aware of the existence of those things, like Lydia, suggest it to higher ups.

Thank you for sharing that! I've been looking for that interview since Tae mentioned it somewhere but didn't really know how to find just that interview. That was really in depth - love that stuff. Was taken a bit aback when he called his mother "exceedingly ordinary," someone was "brazenly" honest haha. Wasn't sure if he was being sarcastic or serious when he said that pic of MJ looked like him.

Lol @ ratchet, but basically. I've been side-eying them quite frequently, especially as of late (I'm not 100% taken with anyone anyway and will disagree/dislike when necessary, fan or not), but some of those things reminded me of the Tae I thought he was - humble but confident...seems more confident now...which merges with the ratchetness he loves to deal to the audience.

And complete truth in your last paragraph. And here's the nosy - I wonder who that gal was he loved/s so much. ;) Smh. But poor guy though, that must really suck.

Oh, I didn't see it from that view. I thought he was asking in general about his mother [people who have good relationships tend to say positive, loving things about their moms] - not the passing of some awesome genes [as in Tae is so ~great his mother must be ~great too]. I see now.

Oh wow, I didn't know about anyone other than Dara in that list. CL, Ji eun, May Doni &/or Yuri though... that's interesting, I wonder how fans connected him to them (apart from Tae admitting he was close to a few members and was set up on a blind date with a member from SNSD)? I guess I don't pay attention unless there's some sort of visual proof ...unless I'm in the mood for a laugh or random cuteness. But yeah, who knows who it really is.
