but I was watching a video where an american teenage girl was talking with some korean high school students and they all had such low self esteem, picking their faces apart, calling each other ugly, saying what they needed to fix, all so they can live up to these unrealistic expectations that almost no one has naturally. none of them were ugly in the slightest.
it's also a shame to look back on the korean stars of 20, 30 years ago and see how they all had their own unique looks, some with strong jaws, some with monolids...none of them would even stand a chance in the industry today. and the kids of the next generation are going to have the natural look, and they'll want to look like the beauties before them, where does it end?
