SORRY GUYS!! Allkpop first wrote it as if she was leaving, then changed it later when I wasn't on my computer. :(

It's shocking and not- She's at an age where a lot of girls are getting married and, lets be honest, idol careers are no guarantee so I'm glad she's found a positive way to elave kpop while she's still young enough to start something new. I hope leaving WG doesn't mean she stops singing- it'd be cool if she occasionally popped up now and then... Still, all the best to her and her fiance~! I wonder how long before a baby shows up??

I wouldn't be all that surprised if she's already pregnant or if they're at least planning to have a child in the very near future tbh. It would totally make sense in the grand scheme of things, her stopping all group-related activities, moving to Canada to be with her husband and everything...

It was my first thought that she is probably pregnant already and that is why she is stopping all activities.

Isn't she like, 23, though? That's not an age where a lot of girls get married where I live, omg.

I hope she doesn't regret giving up so much for him, though. Hope them the best.

Really? A lot of the kids I graduated with are married/engaged with kids (some with more than one) and given she's also religious, it's probably more normal than not for people her age to be married.

And I don't think she's giving up all that much, yeah she's not an idol anymore, but she can still sing and he seems to hold the same values and share the same interests she does..

Yeah. Honestly here the age to marry is usually past-25yo and closer to 30, with kids at thirty-sth (two-three). I mean, this is a huge generalization and there's a little bit of everything (my cousin married right after college too), but generally at 23yo most of us aren't even thinking of marriage. All through this story my thought has always been "but omg you're so young!" lol.

Idk, giving up your career can lead to resentment sometimes. I just hope she doesn't. (I would).

Agreed with this whole comment. Heck, some people I went to school with had kids BEFORE they left school, and a lot of others are engaged (I am myself) if not married by now. Personally I wouldn't want kids this young, but I definitely see it as pretty normal to be engaged or married at this, or Sunye's, age. /ramblings

Lol yeah, I was just going to say what laeryn did. She's 23, and most 23 year-olds (at least where I live) aren't married or wanting to get married in the near, immediate future.
