I see it as, "At least someone sees their worthy/important enough."

We've already waited for so many years, what's a few more years right? I believe that soemthing great will happen with JYJ this year so let's be positive! :)

The first time they got a title like that I thought "yeah great step", I even hoped politicians might help them get back on TV tbh, but now they just get these ambassadors position and nothing happenened so I'm not a "believer" anymore

One thing i thank for their ambassador stints is getting their name out there to the mass public. There are lots of citizens who doesn't care about the showbiz industry. This makes more people aware of JYJ and like them as JYJ not as the former TVXQ members.

does this mean the korean govt are tvxq/jyj fans
do they have secret noraebang parties where they exclusively sing their songs
inquiring minds etc

Nah. The mafia CEO and fans probably scared all the politicians to make them ambassadors.

#I never knew the 'mafia' thing can come in handy.

A grin spread on my face while I read this. I applaud every ambassador title they get. It may not mean they're getting on tv, but it means they were chosen over hundreds of idols, and chosen over idols from the 3 big companies. It means they bring in so much revenue that entire countries notice it, even when they lack media coverage. So yes, it sucks the politicians can't help more than they do, but the honor is still a thorn up SM's ass and I'm glad they have it. :)
