i've read so many comments about how chunnie just arrived from china but then they're perf all requires quite a bit of singing from him. im like what ya'll doing?! but jae n junsu sounded decent, good even. it was prerecorded it seems.

Clarification: Channel A’s comments about JYJ

I don’t know who translated the commentary but they made some mistakes that are angering many. I hope the mistranslations are removed.

The now clarified commentary:

+ The male announcer said the lighting and stage wasn’t the best. Continued saying, it is rare for a performance to be heard clearly in such an event due to noise or the crowd

+ The female announcer then said JYJ should still feel honored to have performed on such a stage.

About the wrong translation of what ChannelA’s announcers said.

It seems that someone (intentionally or unintentionally) mistranslated what the 2 ChannelA’s announcers said about JYJ in the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony.

They actually said that the lighting and the stage were not good, which gave them the feeling that it was like karaoke stage; because the lighting and stage decoration of concert is usually splendid. Then the female announcer said, “Anyhow, the fact that JYJ perform in Presidential Inauguration ceremony has big meaning, even though they have to perform on such messy stage.”

The part about TVXQ, the female announcer basically said that they were separated from TVXQ and became JYJ.

Although I feel that the male announcer doesn’t really have favorable view of JYJ but we can’t say that he insulted them.

Apparently, it was too much to ask that Korean media stop their commentary in those precious seconds they allowed JYJ on screen. At least a Japanese station aired their whole perf, but still, Korean tv stations. >_>

although I, like most fans already see this coming miles away, but the fact that it actually happened still saddened me a bit. Thought after all the BS they give to JYJ I'll immune to it... guess not. Slow clap for Korean medias for achieving new low...

Hopefully this means we can get a Japanese album in near future!!!

Though I've more or less expected it, it's still disappointing how Japan TV was able to air almost their full performance while on Korean air, the longest is like for Chajatta and Empty? I also like how respectful the Japanese announcer was. She did a short intro and went quiet so people watching it could listen to them sing.

3 days at Tokyo Dome. Pray hard it'll fall through and JYJ will be able to perform at TD. Finally they are able to sing in Japan. I hope they'll sing in Japanese. Hope they'll have new Japanese songs for this concert. Good news indeed for Japanese fans.

But OP, the commentators didn't say anything bad about JYJ, like, at all.
Also, the other performances weren't fully shown either, not only JYJ's... but yeah, whatever, it's not like I was expecting much to begin with.

Since I'm used to see snippets of concert from Japanese TV/news program, I think it is a custom for Japanese newscaster/reporter to stay silent during the performances clips. I think it is more of a cultural/habitual rules there.

About the performance: why are the back dancers wearing more eye-catching clothes than JYJ themselves? Made them hard to distinguish. At one point I was looking at one of the back dancers thinking to myself "Wow, JJ has gotten awesome at dancing all of a sudden".

But man, I'm glad Yoochun is still awesome at singing. Melted my heart in that 2nd song. I dunno, after such a long time of not hearing him ór hearing him be awful I was fearing for the worst.

I can't wait for their japan activities.
