3rd mini-album title track “Hoot” to be revealed on October 25th

SNSD’s 3rd Mini Album’s title track “훗(Hoot)” will be unveiled on October 25th and the countdown to their domestic activities in Korea begins.

On October 22nd, a representative from SM Entertainment said, “At 10pm on October 25th, fans will be able to listen to the new mini album’s title track ‘훗(Hoot)’ as it will be revealed on Melon, Bugs, Dosirak, Cyworld and various music sites”.

The title track “Hoot” represents the sounds made when one laughs. The rhythm of the song and the sounds of guitar offer the retro feel to those listening to it. The lively voices of each SNSD members add more charms and varieties to the song.

For the promotional activities of the new song, the girls have undergone a transformation from their previous concepts. Since October 19th where the first sets of teasers were released through their official site, the girls’ new “Bond Girl” or “Retro Power Girls” concept have received a lot of attention and interest from various parties.

On SNSD’s comeback, SM Entertainment commented, “Whenever there is a new SNSD release, people will take note of their songs, fashions and performances. We are looking forward to the new activities (for the new mini-album) which will definitely create a ‘syndrome’ to the music industry and also to the public as a whole”.

SNSD’s 3rd mini album “Hoot” is scheduled to be released on October 27th and the girls will be making a comeback on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank on October 29th.

Greetings from maknaes ahead of “Hoot” release

Ahead of their comebacks and domestic activities in Korea for the 3rd mini album, the girls dropped some messages to SONEs.

On October 21st, SNSD’s maknaes YoonA and Seohyun posted messages on their official website. In her message, YoonA posted a picture of herself holding a pen while studying Japanese. Seohyun on the other hand, posed with her neat and clean look, much to the delight of her fans.

YoonA greeted and thanked her fans with the message:

“It’s been a long time, isn’t it? We’ve been going back and forth to Japan and Korea for our activities. We are happy to carry out activities with you guys. I really really can’t wait for “훗hoot”‘s activities. Please give us lots of support. Hoot hoot hoot”. Are you guys shocked by the surprise gift? We are amazed that the plan was successful and we love it. We want to give you guys a surprise which is why we keep the secret well. While in Japan, we never forget about SONEs in Korea. I was worried that we will be forgotten, what if…I can’t express myself well and I am really sorry as I feel I could never give as much love as what you guys have given me. But, you guys are aware of it, right?”

“You guys thought So Nyeos are not coming back from Japan anymore, didn’t you? Hoot.

Did we surprised you a lot with our comeback? Please anticipate SNSD’s surprised comeback with “Hoot”. Nothing is more important than your health. If you want to cheer for So Nyeos, you have to take good care of health from now on. We’ll see you guys on stage soon”.
