Despite already being three weeks into their debut, rookie five member girl group Chocolat has declared that they will be going on a diet.

"It's been about three weeks since we've debuted, and in that short time, we've felt and learned so many things," the girls said in a recent interview.

Tia said, "We were so disappointed because we felt like we weren't able to show everything that we had prepared on our debut stage. We worked hard to make sure that we could do better the next time."



Leader Min Soa said, "All of the members came together to monitor our debut stage at least 30 or 40 times in a row. We've improved since our first broadcast but there are still so many things that we need to work on."

While watching their seniors perform on stage, the girls revealed that they came away with many thoughts and new determinations.



Min Soa revealed, "The first thing that we thought while watching our senior girl groups was that 'We need to lose weight.' They're all so thin and have great bodies. Their faces are all very small too. The members have decided to go on a diet. Of course, we also learned a lot talent-wise from the senior girl groups."

Melanie concluded, "There was so much to learn from the senior girl groups. We're going to work harder than ever to become an amazing girl group like them."

Brave Brothers gives Tia some advice on MBC’s “Singer and Trainee”







Producer Brave Brothers gave some important advice to young star Tia during MBC’s ‘Singer and Trainee’.

On the September 13th, MBC aired its Chuseok special, “Singer and Trainee”, which saw performances from talented up-and-coming artists. Brave Brothers was a guest judge, who didn’t hesitate to give blunt criticisms

After watching Ji Hyun Woo and Tia’s performance, Brave Brothers remarked, “Ji Hyun Woo was very charming.”

He then turned to comment on Tia’s performance, saying, “I thought Tia was a dancer, but I think she has what it takes to succeed as a star.”

However, he warned, “Right now there are more than 100,000 people who are training to be a star right now, because of that, you need to push yourself hard and practice like crazy.”

“Since you are only 15, you have a better chance at making it, but make sure you don’t just concentrate on dancing alone.”

“Singer and Trainee” saw performances from seniors singers Kim Jang Hoon, Kim Jong Suh, Park Myung Soo, Jang Hye Jin, Park Hyun Bin, Wheesung, Ji Hyun Woo, and T-ara. The judges were PD Jo Young Soo of ‘I Am a Singer“, director Kim Yoo Gon, singer BMK, and producer Brave Brothers.
