Girl group 2NE1 is planning to hold their first world tour, titled “New Evolution.”

On the 13th, YG Entertainment stated “2NE1 will have their Korean concerts on the 28th and 29th of next month, at the Olympic Gymnastics Stadium.   The world tour will then go on to America, Europe, etc., making a total of 7 countries and 10 cities.”

Every song by 2NE1 received much love since their debut in 2009. Last year they were titled “The Best New Band in the World” by MTV IGGY, and they were also selected as the “girl group that hallyu fans like the most” in France.

2NE1 had power and stage presence that is uncommon among girl groups at their first concert last year. The audience sang along to the parade of their hit songs, and this heat was carried on to Japan with 70000 people. Their Japan tour was a success.

2NE1’s world tour will be held by Live Nation, the same company that is helping Big Bang for their world tour. Live Nation’s worldwide networks and staff will be working with 2NE1.

YG Entertainment also stated “At 2NE1’s world tour ‘New Evolution’, fans will be able to experience advanced performances as we plan to show each member’s skills,” and “Every single one of the staff members have worked with worldwide stars before; We will announce more information in the future.

Also, “Seven countries and 10 cities are planned for 2NE1’s world tour, but there is a high chance that more locations will be added.”

girls i love most of your music but even if you come to NY there is no way i'm going cause seeing how BB ALIVE TOUR tickets for indonesia were $200, I expect the same prize when BB comes to NY and I'm sure 2NE1's prices will be similar and I am so not willing to spend all that money twice.

lol the allure of panda and gd is too strong. i feel you.
aleexnews 13th-Jun-2012 02:49 am (UTC)
ugh ik!! these girls are bsclly the only girl group i follow and i love all of their music but i've loved BB oppars longer and i mean, GD!!!

plus 2NE1 still has a lot of time left in kpop, im sure this wont be their last time in NY (if they come, which im pretty sure of).
xalexandriam 13th-Jun-2012 02:56 am (UTC)
lol this is why i'm happy i don't live in NYC because I would go to both concerts tbh

oh yeah, 2NE1 still has a lot of time left. I'm hoping that whenever they fuck they decide to promote in America for real that their US management company decides on a small, club-like venue tour.
aleexnews 13th-Jun-2012 03:10 am (UTC)
lol imagine the ppl in LA then. the thing is i have the money for both concerts but ik im gonna regret it later on when i need the money for smth else. idk maybe if their tix are in the 80 range i'll go.

that'd be great, i hope yg tries that cause with the music they put out the concert would be ideal in a club-like venue.
xalexandriam 13th-Jun-2012 03:17 am (UTC)
no1curr about LA tbh lol

I really think that's what'll end up happening, unless they do what WG did and become an opening act for a popular American group. But I'd rather they go the smaller venue route. :3

also, I will always love that icon. :P bless u for making it.
aleexnews 13th-Jun-2012 03:37 am (UTC)
lol poor LA!

ehhhh i really hope they dont lol no shade to WG but it didn't exactly get them what they wanted in return i think, so i'd rather 2NE1 takes the route you mentioned even if they do it little by little. :p

ahaha thnx. im glad i was able to make it in the end, i almost gave up cause i wanted to gif the whole part and it obvs wasnt gonna fit the 40kb limit. =.= lord seungri is not meant to have limits tbqh

lol I love LA, but not when it comes to kpop concerts.

If their US management is smart, they'll do small concert venues.

lmao lord panda bb laughs in the face of lj's icon limits. CAN'T BE TAMED.
