did u mean park shin hye? (who is shin hyesung lol?) and amber's korean isnt spectacular tbh and also i dont think amber has ever acted in anything ever. (and I say this as someone who is a biiig amber fan)
that is some unfortunate hair. and i know some people think she still looks girly but honestly I've seen dudes that look about as girly so lol. admittedly they look it with the help of make up and extensions but even so, she doesnt look THAT bad. altho that hair is terrible lol. I like it. But I also dont expect much form this drama but some laughs and attractive ppl.
Yeah Amber would have been great for the part except we don't know her acting abilities. But other than that, she'd have the English down, and in the original manga weren't there a few parts where she messed up the Japanese because she wasn't used to being in Japan? (It's been a while since I've read it, sorry.) So the fact that her Korean isn't great wouldn't be a problem at all.
Personally I think every J-pop actor/actress has already owned everyone acting in this re-make so i don't even try to compare them anymore. The jpn version was just too good, from writing to cast. The original is usually always better anyways.
I think Sulli still looks too girly but what they can do, she is a girl! The only option they had was casting someone less feminine but it's too late for that. And i don't think Sulli is the one we should be worrying about rn, Minho though.......

i like the whole taemin mushroom look, and her hair looked better in the stills. who knows, they'll probably style it differently throughout the series anyway.
I am more concern of Minho playing Sano... How on earth is he going to reprise Sano's character by Oguri Shun (not doubting the athletic aspect though)

She resembles the original manga character a lot actually. I'm surprised. Still a little meh about Minho but we'll see.
