(not saying that he doesn't deserve to lose peoples' respect over it, just not really agreeing with that particular description for his actions:S)
and yeah, "oppa didn't mean it", my ass. imo, a person shouldn't be allowed to drink unless they're mature enough to know not to drive/shoot/etc. while under the influence.
"in a written statement of what happened during the accident, Nichkhun simply wrote, ‘I’m Sorry’ as his Korean writing skills were lacking"
ok bye

0.01–0.049 = No Penalty
0.05–0.09 = 100 days license suspension
>0.10 = Cancellation of car license. wiki
So he'll at least get 100 days license suspension. The motorcyclist wasn't terribly hurt was he? I hope not. It didn't appear that either of them were going too terribly fast.
And those streets in Korea are so dangerous. People never look it seems before they drive out into them...sometimes they'll honk when approaching. They always scared me. But Khun was in the smaller road so he definitely should have yielded. :/
Word. Even when pedestrians are present. Super scary.
I actually got hit 3 weeks ago while riding my bike across the street (had the green light to cross). Luckily it wasn't too bad, but still -- there are traffic laws for a reason!

I'm glad everyone turned out okay for now. I hope that the cyclist has no lasting injuries from this because with accidents you never really know whats wrong.
Did they really forget how they felt when the accident with Block B happend? Didn't they learn anything?
It's so embarrassing for 'normal' Block B fans, well, in general K-Pop fans imo.
Look what happend to their website: http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m7p1d
idk what to think about that to be honest.
It's a miracle the motorcyclist is alive.
But again, he can anticipated it better if he do not drive under the influence of the alcohol and can avoid it from happening.
So Nickhun is irresponsible driver all in all. DUI and careless driving..
Unless the cyclist was already in front of Nichkhun when he was hit.
If I see another "Oppa didn't mean it" fan defending him...
And damn, I hate those kind of korean roads, it's just open and shit, no stops signs.
Now, was the motorcyclist wearing a helmet?

i can't with jype rn but i hope at least khun's apologized to the guy and his family, that's what's important, not the national bawww-ing to the whole country when famous people screw up. people only do that to save face and appease endorsements.
As for the fans who try to excuse what Nichkhun did, I don't think it's appropriate. In any other situation, perhaps it could've worked that way but he was drunk and went behind the wheel, putting his own life in danger as well as those of others. It was an irresponsible thing to do. I understand that he is a beloved idol and it's normal for us to want to defend him, but I don't think anyone has the right to say that he "didn't mean it." All we can do is pray for the health of the motorcyclist and pray that he isn't injured severely and will recover soon. As for Khun, the only thing fans can do is hope for the best. He deserves to be punished but I also hope that through this he learns not to drive under the influence again.
On a last note, f whoever is threatening him because it's not their place. It's a terrible thing to do on his part but you can't expect someone to learn their lesson by being violent about it.
