WOMEN'S HOCKEY: JAPAN VS SOUTH AFRICA

I am waiting for canoe sprint. I remember once I found a canoe on the road. How do you not realize your canoe fell off the top of your car? Still floats. Took it down the crick yall.

My excitement for these Games has dissipated, but I still look forward to track events. The Women's 200m is packed! I can't wait.

NBC needs to fix a lot of ish before the Sochi Games. They didn't even show parallel bars last night, and they fast-tracked through high bar. I hate them.

I love that Team USA is guaranteed gold and silver Volleyball medals (as with Chinese and table tennis). We're in two other Gold Medal matches as well. I think China's medal count will be higher in the end, and I'm okay with that. That's how they do.
feel_my_mind 8th-Aug-2012 12:56 pm (UTC)
Not to defend NBC (unlike the IOC*), but they did show parallel bars. It was in their late night package.

*The IOC has basically defend NBC Olympic coverage, becuase out of all the stations that air it; they pay the IOC by far the MOST. Its disturbing.

Mo's being hassled from all sides >:(
dipropylene 8th-Aug-2012 11:50 am (UTC)
Nothing interesting today, except athletics.
ceecile 8th-Aug-2012 11:57 am (UTC)
Feeling jaded about the Olympics after yesterday but still I can't quit.
Pole vaulting today! Crossing my fingers for my bb Renaud Lavillenie!
But I couldn't care less about the horse stuff.

Watching Handball. Why are we (France) flopping so hard right now? We came in as clear favourites and the women were eleminated yesterday after dominating their seed. And the men are lead by 3 points. Ugh! Isn't the team's nickname The Expert? In what? The inability to keep the ball?
j_halo7 8th-Aug-2012 02:45 pm (UTC)
BMX riding is crazy! Seems like a rollercoaster ride on bicycles. Scary!
ceecile 8th-Aug-2012 03:04 pm (UTC)
Did you see the girl who fell? Ouch! And I love how in football or basket they bring out something to take the injured away and here she might have broken a few ribs and they just lift her up by the arms and let her hop away.
istalkalert 8th-Aug-2012 02:55 pm (UTC)
nothing really interesting for me to watch today, but i'm going to check up on results here and there.

Poor Hong Kong.... didn't win Bronze medal match against Germany for Men's Team Table Tennis. It's alright, they did great already. They need to kick Jiang off the team, he sucks.
wowwh 8th-Aug-2012 03:01 pm (UTC)
US vs Italy Men Volleyball soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ceecile 8th-Aug-2012 03:16 pm (UTC)
Yessss Oh my God that finish! Handball is the worse for the nerves seriously. But I love it so much. I usually turn off the sound to lessen the stress but I couldn't here.
lelouchikaru 8th-Aug-2012 03:21 pm (UTC)
