soshified styling 1 2 3

sometimes i question sooyoung's choices... taeyeon and tiffany are always so casual lol sweats, t-shirts, and shorts

They're all pretty casual, but some of the items are nice. I really like Jessica's striped dress in that shot of her with Hyoyeon and Sooyoung pulls off long coats really well.
xoxgoodbye 10th-Feb-2013 02:25 am (UTC)
Just wondering, do the girls own the clothes themselves or are they given to themby the designers

And if that's Yuri, she looks thinner.
cagallisakura 10th-Feb-2013 02:31 am (UTC)
The clothes are either theirs, sponsored, or from what it seems like SM's giant closet. Sponsored would be like j.estina bags or recently sooyoung's double m.

Yuri in which photo, the first one? That's sooyoung. Also these pictures are all from 2011 or older^^

some sponsored. some they bought themselves. and i always think a fair amount of the stuff is shared with other SM artists.

but i think they get quite a bit of stuff from fans as well.
anathema_switch 10th-Feb-2013 05:28 am (UTC)
If you follow Soshified Style you'll see that some girls favor certain brands (like Tiffany with Free People) which I think they buy their selves. I don't know a lot about fashion but often ssf style can only cite runway shows for things that they wear so I suppose that would have to be through SM.
xblackchristmas 10th-Feb-2013 04:16 am (UTC)
they wear such EXPENSIVE casual clothing.
kamoteatmani 10th-Feb-2013 04:30 am (UTC)
That Alexander Wang dress is sf ugly and basic tbh, and too expensive to boot. I can get one of those in the thrift shops for a fraction of its price.

Preppy Pearl Bowling Bag in Plum @ Selfridges.com $660

that bag better have an infinite amount of storage for that price tbh.
atelierlune 10th-Feb-2013 12:02 pm (UTC)

And I still kind of want it even at that price (I really like the shape).
hellicoptajuuce 10th-Feb-2013 08:14 am (UTC)
everything looks like it costs under $50 tbh aint nobody stupid enough to spend that kinda money on basic shizzle imo
gathyou 10th-Feb-2013 11:29 am (UTC)
Repetto, Zadig&Voltaire and Sandro. I don't see much French brands on SNSD, I'm quite surprised.
There is some good casual styles here, but soooo expensive lol. Especially the shorts. £143 for a short with pockets hanging out, that my mum could have made herself ? Woow, woow.
x_undercover_x 11th-Feb-2013 12:22 am (UTC)
SM people wears loads of French brands though, Carven, Isabel Marant, Chloé, Chanel, etc. are very often worn by Soshi especially. I think the girls have had a French brands boner since SMTOWN Paris but they've recently drifted towards UK brands.
gathyou 11th-Feb-2013 12:11 pm (UTC)
I consider them as "haute couture" not like Sandro and Zadig&Voltaire, wch doesn't have as much influence and are less known ! If we sepearate "haute couture" to other brands, they are way more into Korean and English brands, it seems. That's why I was surprised :) And you're right, SMTOWN Paris must have had some influence here !
