Despite a drop in ratings, SBS’s “That Winter, The Wind Blows” still maintained its lead in the Wed/Thurs night drama time slot.
According to AGB Nielsen, Song Hye Gyo and Jo In Sung’s comeback drama recorded 13% for its latest episode. KBS’s “IRIS 2” barely avoided coming in last with 10.1%, however, it could not avoid its continuing slide. MBC’s “Level 7 Civil Servant” was right behind with 10.0%.
“That Winter, The Wind Blows” marks Song Hye Gyo and Jo In Sung’s comeback to the small screen. The melodrama is about a man and woman, who don’t believe in love. Song Hye Gyo takes on the role of Oh Young, the sole heiress to a giant conglomerate. She lost both her parents and her eyesight, making her extremely self-protecting and lonely. Jo In Sung plays Oh Soo, a playboy and a gambler who lives a meaningless life. He sets his eyes on his next target, Oh Young, to repay an enormous amount of debt. While he approaches her for money, he ends up falling in love with her.

On this episode, Jo In Sung and Song Hye Gyo shared a cotton candy, creating an intimate and romantic scene. Even before its broadcast, this scene received a lot of attention from the netizens.

On the recent episode of SBS’s “One Night of TV Entertainment” that aired on February 27, drama “That Winter, the Wind Blows’” actor Jo In Sung’s outfits were discussed. On this episode, Jo In Sung’s personal stylist appeared to reveal an unusual problem she experiences when providing clothes for the actor.
She stated, “His legs are about 15cm longer than the legs of an average man.”
When asked if she buys Jo In Sung’s clothes off the rack from department stores, the stylist answered, “We usually have to get custom-made outfits.”

The actors appeared on the set on February 25, bringing a food truck with them for the actors and the staff who were working hard during the cold winter. The actors enjoyed their time on the set, eating and conversing with Jo In Sung.
Song Joong Ki reportedly visited Zo In Sung on set before in January as well.
Jo In Sung and Song Joong Ki were previously housed under the same agency. The two also acted in the movie Frozen Flower together with Im Joo Hwan. Lee Kwang Soo and Jo In Sung got to know each other when they were models for a family restaurant, while Jo In Sung and Kim Ki Bang are friends from high school. Meanwhile, That Winter, The Wind Blows has been gathering speed, holding on to the number one spot in viewership ratings for its timeslot for two weeks.

Well-respected acting coach Ahn Hyuk Mo, who has worked with the likes of Super Junior‘s Choi Siwon, Song Joong Ki, and Jeon Ji Hyun recently revealed Jo In Sung‘s acting ambitions.
Ahn Hyuk Mo has been adored by his pupils, who describe him to be “a soft and tender man who’s full of intensity and passion. He’s sharp, keen, and detail-oriented. He knows what his students need and what their weaknesses are and offers his help and insight.” Jo In Sung is currently under his tutelage for his current drama.
On February 26, Ahn Hyuk Mo made a guest appearance on SBS’s “Good Morning” and revealed, “Jo In Sung’s acting has improved greatly since the time he enlisted in the army.”
This comment was with regards to Jo In Sung’s latest project, SBS’s drama “That Winter, The Wind Blows,” where he plays the role of Oh Soo, a con-artist who must convince Oh Young, played by Song Hye Gyo, that he is her long lost older brother.
Ahn Hyuk Mo also went on to say, “Before Jo In Sung began filming for the drama, he struggled a lot and encountered some discomfort in preparation for his role and comeback.”
