The Spokespeople EP 1

The MC's discuss sexy concepts with Rainbow's Jisook, Stellar's Gayoung and Dal★Shabet's Subin. Later, we hear the concerns of a cafe owner who's having trouble with people studying in the cafe for a very long time, a chicken farm owner who's having trouble with avian influenza and a Filipino student who came out to eliminate stereotypes and prejudices of Southeast Asian women.

What is this show about? Do they just pick random topics to talk about? Anyway, I'm gonna watch this for Rainbow!

From what I gathered from the first episode: it's basically a show for people to voice their concerns and have the hosts act as spokespeople for them. It's kind of Hello Counsellor-esque but I prefer that people's concerns aren't dismissed as easily here (which surprised me, because of Kim Gura's involvement).

Jisook is awesome... Rainbow in general are really great in interviews.

I like that the show called out the hypocrisy of journalists writing sensationalist headlines to 'criticize' girl groups for being sensationalist.

I wish Jisook had more time to talk, especially without Kim Gura gesturing for her to stop so he could talk (I really hate Kim Gura...what is his appeal anyways?).

And I hate the "think about the children" argument. Some of the people need to learn to parent their own goddamn kids. If your kid is watching or doing something that you don't like, have a goddamn conversation with your child and stop asking the entire world to take responsibility for your child..

Jisook was amazing, she made a pretty good argument and stood her ground against Kim Gura. I like the format of this show, hope it gets picked up, really good for a pilot episode.
