BTOB′s Yook Sung Jae is taking over the advertising world.
According to BTOB′s agency, Cube Entertainment, within three months of KBS drama School 2015 going off the air in June, Yook Sung Jae signed on to be the exclusive model for four brands in Korea. Yook Sung Jae scored advertisiing deals with an app, online shopping website, fashion accessories brand and even an outdoor brand, signifying his top star status, becoming an instant ′hot rookie′ in the advertising world.
Yook Sung Jae′s group BTOB has also seen a rise in popularity and is receiving many love calls. BTOB is currently the face of a pizza brand as well as school uniform and clothing brands and, most recently, scored a deal with a well-known mobile carrier to represent its roaming service.
Yook Sung Jae has been hailed the youth star of 2015 following School 2015, his affable appearance and bright, healthy image appealing not only to women in their 20s and 30s, but advertisers as well.
Despite his young age, Yook Sung Jae is dipping into the field of advertising that ′big models′ have monopolized thus far, gaining value recognition as a megastar, not just an idol singer.
Moreover, Yook Sung Jae′s successful streak from the first half of the year is expected to continue on through new SBS drama The Village, in which he has been cast as the male lead Park Woo Jae, when it airs in October.
The future is bright for the advertising world′s ′blue chip′ Yook Sung Jae, who is on track to become a top star, as he successfully widens his and his group′s sphere of influence.
Meanwhile, Yook Sung Jae, who is currently appearing in MBC′s We Got Married, will make his drama return as policeman Park Woo Jae in SBS′ The Village alongside top actress Moon Geun Young. The drama will premiere on October 7 at 10 p.m. KST.
