19.03.11 Super Junior's 3nd Asia Tour: Super Show 3 Malaysia fancams

Another mega SS3 post is here!!

Well, I also attended Super Show 2 and personally felt that I enjoyed myself more last year. I have no idea why. Probably because I prefer 3rd jib over the 4th and somehow, I also felt that there were more singing last year? Not forgetting the fact that SJ-M performed 2 songs instead of just 1. Plus, it felt rushed. I was later informed that their flight was at 11pm that night and apparently, the boys even checked out before the concert that noon.

It was all a blur~~ Lovely photo by epikly.

However, at the end of the day, it was still a pretty darn good concert (and it seems my cousin brother preferred this year's) so here is what I managed to compile for all of you who enjoy fancams/want to re-live the concert on 19th March 2011. Noted: Not all fan-cams have been linked, just the ones I feel would be different compared to the others.

A number of singing projects failed that night but at least, the Birthday song to Hyuk was done, thanks to Teukie. I daresay quite a lot of fans got selcas from the members that night (esp those with polaroid cameras). And if I'm not mistaken, a foreigner got to touch HeeChul's face with both her palms (LOL!) and I've read that quite a number managed to touch/shake Kyu's hands too.

If you have your fan-account/photos/videos to share from SS3 Malaysia, just leave me a comment and I will edit the post to add the link (if that is alright with the mods).

Perfect Man Makes Perfect Movie Even More Perfect

Niiice. What a surprising turn for upcoming heist movie Thieves to round out its cast with some young blood. I was already in, but now I’m chomping at the bit for this motley crew to get their thievin’ on. Kim Soo-hyun, fresh off his star-making turn as country-bumpkin-turned-popstar Song Sam-dong on Dream High, has joined the cast of what’s shaping up to be my new favorite movie, if all goes according to plan.

miss A’s Suzy poses for ‘Harper’s Bazaar’

miss A’s Suzy has transformed into a spring girl for ‘Harper’s Bazaar‘.

For the photoshoot, Suzy worked her fresh and pure charms in order to pull off the concept of ‘Spring Blossom’ perfectly. The idol shed her arrogant ‘Go Hyemi‘ image in favor of something softer. Though her poses hinted at a sexy edge, her milky-white skin and large eyes brought a girlish quality to her shots.

The adorable idol’s pictorial can be found in full through the April edition of ‘Harper’s Bazaar’.

Twitter updates - CEO's warning towards Inspirits

There seems to be a lot of talk today about various problems, but I don’t want to say anything about this happening. However, I’ll tell you something not as a CEO of a company, but as a person. Photos and fancams are illegal to take during fansignings, events or other similar things.

I posted a notice on the official fancafe so please look at it. Because there’s something called portrait rights… Putting it up on sites or blogs without permission is illegal based on rules. It doesn’t matter if it’s for commercial use or non-commercial use… So starting from the 1st album, filming during any event or fansigning will not be allowed.

Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae show great chemistry for ‘The Body Shop’

Tiger JK and his wife, Yoon Mi Rae, impressed the staff on set from their CF shoot for The Body Shop, thanks to their perfect chemistry.

They’re one of those couples who are naturally happy both on the outside and in. For their endorsement, the two posed naturally in plain white towels as they interacted affectionately.

They had no problem acting comfortably as a couple on set, and it were as if they were shooting from their home. A representative of the brand said, “This CF filming showed the couple’s daily and casual life.”

S.Korean figure skater sues former agent

South Korea's Olympics figure skating champion Kim Yu-Na is suing her former agent for failing to pay the athlete part of her endorsement earnings, her lawyer said.

IB Sports, the agency Kim left in April last year, failed to pay her 894 million won (793,960 dollars) earned from advertisement deals for Hyundai Motor and other companies, Kim's lawyer said on Monday.

"We filed the suit last November and the first court hearing was held on March 16 in Seoul," the lawyer Lee Sang-Hun told AFP.

"The sponsors continued to pay IB Sports for deals signed before April 2010 even after Kim left the agency, yet the firm did not give her share at all," he said.

Kim later set up her own agency, AT Sports.

"We're willing to return whatever she's due but we also need to get our share," Yonhap news agency quoted an IB Sports official as saying.

Kim, 20, who won gold at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games, has been training in California with her new coach Peter Oppegard, with whom she teamed up in October after a split with her former coach, Canadian Brian Orser.

The figure skating champion dubbed "Queen Yu-Na" in her home country was listed by Forbes magazine last year as one of the world's highest-paid female athletes with annual earnings of 9.7 million dollars.

Kim was to compete at the World Figure Skating Championship in Tokyo scheduled for March 21 to 27 and flew to Seoul Sunday after the event was called off due to devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

South Korea’s Sleeper Movie: ‘I Love You’

Hollywood films such as “Black Swan” and “The King’s Speech” are doing big business at the South Korean box office, but this season’s sleeper hit is a homemade drama about elderly romance, starring actors in their 60s and 70s.

“I Love You,” which is based on a popular Web-based comic series of the same name, is really the story of two romances: a budding one between a widower whose wife died of cancer and a woman left by her violent husband, and a lifelong one between a dedicated husband and his wife, who is suffering from dementia.

You might expect an old-people-in-love story to be a hard sell with young people, but in fact 20-somethings and 30-somethings accounted for 34% and 39%, respectively, of buyers at the ticket-selling site Max Movie. One possible reason: lots of positive word online.

Twitter is full of praise. One fan said he liked “I Love You” because it reflects on death as well as romance. Another said that original comics are difficult to translate into a movie, but that the filmmakers succeeded with this one.

Kim Soo-hyun, a famous soap-opera writer, also tweeted her appreciation: It’s a sad and beautiful story, she wrote, told without exaggeration or excessive emotion.

The momentum of praise helped turn what was slow starter — audiences were small in the days after its Feb. 17 opening — into a hit: Monday, the total number of viewers for “I Love You” passed the one-million mark.

sorry mods for the double post

Korea’s ‘National Buddies’, Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Won Hee, recently sang Vibe’s ‘That Man, That Woman‘ on MBC’s “Come to Play“, thus generating huge interest from netizens after it was aired.

On March 21st, MCs Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Won Hee prepared a special duet performance to get their singing abilities critiqued by the day’s guests, who were the five judges from ‘Birth of a Great Star‘.

Yoo and Kim insisted on sticking to the original key of the incredibly difficult song, but as Yoo began singing the first verse, laughter could be heard from all over the studio.

Kim Won Hee also finished singing seriously in the midst of all the laughter, which caused people to laugh even more.

When the two MCs reached the chorus highlight of the song, they reached the peak of their singing talent and had the audience howling over their comedic confidence.

Meanwhile, the second part of the ‘Great Mentors’ special of ‘Come to Play’ will air on March 28th, and stars Bang Si Hyuk, Kim Tae Won, Kim Yuna, Shin Seung Hoon and Lee Eun Mi.

Kings’ Lee Seung Gi and SHINee’s Onew recently had a battle on SBS’s “Strong Heart“! Ttak-bam is the act of flicking your fingers to hit someone, oftentimes on the forehead. It doesn’t sound all that impressive, but when done right, it can hurt like no other.

Onew had previously shown off his strength and skills on programs like KBS’s “Night Star” and “Happy Together“. Lee Seung Gi had done the same many times through “1 Night 2 Days“.
