'Music Core' CP, "Singers who can't sing live on stage do not have what it takes to be a singer. We will be thoroughly checking each MR submitted by the agencies and make sure that singers who only open and close their mouths will be gone from the stage."
"Nowadays, 'listening' music has become the trend but there is still a discrepancy where those who sing live will continue to do so while those who don't still don't. Even if a group is centered around their performance, a singer should sing or rap live to satisfy the public."

Former FIESTAR star Cheska has been secretly dating Geeks’ Lil Boi, according to news agency MBN. The article quotes an anonymous source who claims that the two have been an item for approximately three years, and that they initially bonded over a shared love of hip hop music.
The source was quoted as saying, “They met about three years ago, around the time of FIESTAR’s debut. Geeks had already debuted a year before that. I am aware that they still often go out on dates in Hongdae [a fashionable district of Seoul, famous for its indie music scene].”
Lil Boi is one half of Geeks, a hip hop trio, while Cheska left FIESTAR in March this year after three years with the girl group, announcing that she intended to pursue solo activities.
Meanwhile, Cheska’s former group, FIESTAR, will release its long-awaited comeback song, “One More” on July 2.
Seoul prosecutors denied a newspaper claim they let singer Park Bom off the hook for drug smuggling four years ago. A Segye Ilbo report on Monday revealed that Korean customs officers caught Park trying to import 82 amphetamine pills through international shipping in October 2010. Amphetamines are banned in Korea, and the newspaper questioned why the prosecution suspended its indictment of Park.
A number of leading K-pop artists have announced they will be performing at the 2014 Asian Games, to be held in Incheon in September this year. So far, big-name artists such as BIGBANG, JYJ, PSY and EXO have been confirmed.
The event will mark the first time that JYJ has appeared on the same bill as an SM Entertainment-represented artist (in this case EXO) since the three members of the group split from TVXQ in 2009. A lengthy legal case ensued, with both parties wrangling over contractual terms. During this time, JYJ has avoided appearing at events where SM artists were not performing, and vice versa.
TL;DR: The Asian Games named JYJ honorary ambassadors, and the group recorded the main theme song, and shot a mv for it. They've made appearances promoting the Games since last year. There was a press conference held today where Xiu Min and Chen from EXO appeared, and now C-Jes is calling them out because they are saying the committee invited JYJ last month and never contacted them again.

Q; Did the police just let Park Bom go? A; The police were suspicious from how she got the medicine, and how she got to bring it in Korea.
Q; If she was confident, why did she send her medicine to her grandmother’s house? A; It was 4 years ago. October 2010. Dispatch was also not sure. We did have some points that suspected her. That time, person A was the investigator, B was Park Bom’s close person, C was the person from the government, and D was from the drug investigating place. We also called the hospital in USA. Then we concluded that there was Park Bom’s mistake too. So we decided to do the Q&D (Question&Dispatch) to solve this. How Park Bom got this medicine, and what the events that happened while this case was investigated. ( Collapse )

T-ara member Hyomin, who recently made her solo debut with “Nice Body,” has spoken up about the controversy regarding her alleged plagiarism of Block B Zico’s lyrics, which was brought up in various online communities. Fans noticed that Hyomin’s self-written song had lyrics similar to Zico’s rap, raising questions of plagiarism.
On July 1, Hyomin posted on her Twitter, “In the beginning of the writing process, I got help from various people, including Taewoon (Zico’s brother). The part of the song in question was actually the part that Zico helped me with.”
“He was taking care in terms of revealing the part that he had helped me with, and I apologize for disappointing you by not telling you sooner. In creating this album, a lot of people helped me with so many things, and I am truly thankful.”
The part in question is a section of Hyomin’s song “Overcome,” which includes lyrics similar to those from Block B’s “Movie’s Over,” Zico’s “God Answered,” “Dead Leaves,” and “Brilliant.”
Zico said, “It’s true that she [Hyomin] said that she wanted to make an homage to a couple of my lines from my mixtape, and she asked for my permission beforehand. To the fans who love my music, I apologize for not notifying you earlier.”
1. [+640, -8] She talked about the song as if it was her first ever lyrics written and left out the part about Zico entirely but now that people are calling her out, she thinks she can get away with saying "I got help from Zico ^0^"... She knows all the ways to get people to hate her.
2. [+566, -7] Hyomin never talked about Zico in her interview ㅋ Only until she got caught did she finally admit it.
3. [+327, -7] She completely ripped off Zico's lyrics only to turn around and say she got help but what's confidently written on the credits is "lyricist Hyomin, composer Hyomin" this sex machine is even lying to our faces now!!!!!! tsk tsk
4. [+19, -0] The lyrics were not simply written with "help" from Zico... You completely copied his lyrics. How is that him helping you? Did you do it on purpose? To get in the headlines? ;;;
5. [+17, -0] Then don't say the song is a self-composition. Add Zico to the lyric writing credits. You copied and pasted his lyrics and call it your own work? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
6. [+16, -0] First of all, it's not plagiarism because Zico agreed to his lyrics being used... but it's quite obvious that Hyomin's attempt at creating a singer-songwriter image for herself backfired. And copyright law states that Zico needs to be credited since his lyrics are in the song. Since she also mentions many hpeople helping her, I doubt Zico's the only one who participated in this. Can you really call a song worked on by the hands of many as your own creation?
7. [+15, -0] This is straight up plagiarism ㅋㅋㅋ She said so in her interview that she never received influence from anyone but only until the plagiarism controversy erupted did she finally admit to it ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Just screw off already, will you?
8. [+11, -0] Move the copyright to Zico, he did not help you at all, you straight up copied his work
