Raina to comeback with collab single

On August 20, Pledis Entertainment released the official cover photo and track list for Raina’s upcoming solo release. In the released photo, the singer is resting her head against a car window with her eyes closed, drawing much curiosity about the sentiment of upcoming solo track.

On August 17, Pledis Entertainment announced that Raina will be making a long-awaited comeback through a special solo project, for which she had collaborated with singer-songwriter Bumzu. Consequently, this will mark her first comeback in almost a year – a comeback that all music fans have been waiting for a very long time.

BTOB's Eunkwang starts military service

Seo Eunkwang, the leader of popular boy group BTOB, will begin his military service on Tuesday, his management agency said. The singer will undergo a five-week basic training in Hwacheon, Gangwon Province, after which he will be assigned to an Army unit, according to Cube Entertainment.

He posted a handwritten letter on Instagram saying, "Please take care of BTOB's (new) leader Minhyuk and younger members. Let's cheer up until we meet again. I really appreciate and love you."

Debuting in 2012, BTOB has released such hits as "Movie," "Missing You" and "Only One for Me." Seo has appeared in several stage musicals, including "Barnum: The Greatest Showman," as part of his individual activities.

He will be the first member of the seven-piece group to enlist in the military. While he is away, Lee Minhyuk will lead the team.

INFINITE's Woohyun to drop solo album next month

Woohyun of popular K-pop group INFINITE will release his second solo EP on Sept. 3, his management, Woollim Entertainment, said Monday. It would be his first individual release since "Write.." in 2014.

Debuting in 2010 as a seven-piece group, INFINITE grew to be one of the most popular K-pop groups with such hit songs as "Be Mine," "The Chaser," "Man In Love," "The Eye" and "Tell Me."

The band has been taking a break since its leader, Sungkyu, joined the Army to fulfill his two years of mandatory military duty in May.

Her father also commented on the news, saying “I shook hands and gave the JYP staff a hug then left. My family went to go get ice cream with Somi’s manager. We’ll be cheering each other on.”
