Preview for "My Fellow Citizens"

The story is about a con artist named Yang Jung-kook (Choi Siwon) who finds himself in two unlikely relationships. He falls in love with and marries Kim Mi-young (Lee Yoo-young) who’s unaware of his real “occupation” as a scammer. Further complicating their relationship, she’s also been lying, as her real job is a police officer. As if that wrinkle wasn’t enough, loan shark Park Hoo-ja (Kim Min-jung) blackmails him to pull off a larger scale con — to fool the nation and run for office to become a politician.

Writing for KBS’s new comedy drama will be done by writer Han Jung-hoon (Vampire Prosecutor, Bad Guys). And directing will be helmed by PD Kim Jung-hyun (Jugglers).

Trailer for IU's "Persona"

“Persona” is a new short film project that will feature IU in four different stories told by four different directors: Im Pil Sung, Lee Kyung Mi, Kim Jong Kwan, and Jeon Go Woon. IU will play an entirely different character in each of the four films, which were all inspired by the actress.

The preview begins with Lee Kyung Mi’s “Love Set,” in which IU plays a heated game of tennis with her father’s girlfriend (played by Bae Doona). The second film, Im Pil Sung’s “Collector,” stars IU as a mysterious young woman with a secret. The third film, Jeon Go Woon’s “Kiss Burn,” stars IU as a spirited high school student who decides to help her friend get revenge. The fourth and final film, Kim Jong Kwan’s “Walking at Night,” tells the story of former lovers who meet in their dreams and share the things they couldn’t say in real life.

“Persona” will be released on Netflix on April 5.
