"Her Private Life" Ep 5-6 Discussion Post

Synopsis: Sung Duk Mi lives a double life as both a gallery curator and a fansite master for Si An, an idol group member. She’s a pro in both aspects of her life, and because of her fangirl dedication, Duk Mi has had to break up with several boyfriends, deciding instead to go all in for her fangirl activities instead of dating. Ryan is a new director at the gallery where Duk Mi works. Once a painter, Ryan was a sensation in the art world from his debut to his retirement, and is now seeing career success as a director. An individualist through and through, Ryan comes to find out about Duk Mi’s double life.

Kim Jae Wook is a gift

Park Na-rae gets her own Netflix comedy special

In collaboration with Netflix, comedian and reality show host Park Na-rae will make her stand-up debut with two nights of appearances at the Blue Square I'Market Hall. Park will perform "Glamour Warning," a sexually explicit show about love and relationships, on May 17 and 18.

The recorded version of the show will be available on Netflix. It is the global streaming service's third Korean stand-up show following Yoo Byung-jae's "Black Comedy" and "Discomfort Zone."

She's doing a fine job MC-ing I Live Alone now! I could care less about Hyunmoo, but I would love to see Hyejin again. She genuinely seemed close to the other members and the show needs another female host.

Former Winner and Melody Day members to have second crack at music on new show

A group of young musicians including former Winner member Nam Tae-hyun and Chahee of disbanded girl group Melody Day will have a second go at the music scene as they work on new music on a reality show.

Super Junior’s Kim Hee-chul, Momoland’s JooE and singer-songwriter JeA will also star in the upcoming tvN series “Studio Vibes” where the stars will oversee up-and-coming musicians as they rub shoulders with each other while living together.

Toilet Y*****n finally remembers that he used drugs, admits to some allegations

Park Toilet has now admitted to using drugs.

According to the Narcotics Unit of the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency, the singer admitted to most of the charges regarding drug use during his questioning on the morning of April 29.

The police shared that he stated, “I was scared of giving up on myself,” and added, “I think I have to admit what I have to and apologize for what I have to.”

Park Yoochun was arrested on April 26 for the suspicion of purchasing 1.5 grams of Philopon with his former girlfriend Hwang Ha Na on three occasions between February and March of 2019 and injecting the drugs five times.

Ji Chang-wook to return with new romantic comedy drama

Actor Ji Chang-wook, who recently completed his mandatory military service, will come back to the small screen with a romantic comedy TV drama, its broadcaster said Tuesday.

Ji will act as a star entertainment show producer of a TV station in the soap opera whose Korean title is translated as "Melting Me" in English.

Ladies’ Code Announces May Comeback

Ladies’ Code will soon be making their first comeback in two years and seven months!

On April 29, Ladies’ Code’s agency Polaris Entertainment revealed, “Ladies’ Code is currently filming the music video for their new track with the goal of making their comeback in mid-May.”

The agency continued, “They are putting their heart and soul into preparing for this comeback since it’s a long-awaited three-member full group comeback promotion. We plan to notify you about specific dates in the near future.” They added, “We ask for your anticipation and support as you will soon be able to watch the cheerful performance of Ladies’ Code that many have been missing.”

Ladies’ Code debuted on March 7 of 2013 with the song “Bad Girl.” Thereafter, they have released songs such as “Hate You,” “Pretty Pretty,” “So Wonderful,” “Kiss Kiss,” “Galaxy,” and more. Their latest comeback was in October 2016 with “The Rain.”
