In response to the previous reports, Mnet shared the following statement:

"This is a notice from Mnet. This past [November] 15 (Friday), we had a meeting with the X1 members. This meeting was not to pressure the members about group activities, and it was not a meeting to decide whether or not the group will be maintained.

Regarding whether X1 will promote or not, a careful decision will be made by collecting opinions and coming to a mutual agreement with the members, their agencies, and staff.

We express our sincere apologies for causing concern due to our program, and we ask for your consideration in order for speculative reports to not cause harm to the X1 members.

Former The East Light Member Lee Eun Sung To Enlist In Military This Month

"Hello, this is Lee Eun Sung. I’m writing this letter because there’s something important I need to tell you.

I will be enlisting on November 25, 2019! It’s a decision I made on my own, and I’m prepared to go, but what makes me pause is that I won’t be able to see you as much as I can now.

It might seem weird that I’m suddenly enlisting in the military, but I’ve been thinking a lot about my future. I feel like I have to finish my service now so that we can be together for a long time. My decision might be a little hard for you, but I’d be so thankful if you waited for me to return.

I’ll make sure to give back to you in exchange for your patience! I’ll be back! I love you <3

Dispatch shares 13 proof of TRCNG's poor living conditions and abuse + TS Ent's weak clapback

Wooyeop and Taeseon revealed the following information to Dispatch.

1. TRCNG live in a 2 floor dorm amongst 10 members in Hannam-dong.
8 live on the ground floor in two rooms
2 lived in what’s considered "the basement”

Conditions in the basement were not livable due to luggage and other materials around them, poor insulation, and a low ceiling.

Wooyeop shared, “The attic is like a storage room. The ceiling was so low that we couldn’t stand straight. It didn’t have proper heating, and we lived jumbled up with our stuff and equipment.”

Globally acclaimed superstars BTS and other high-flying K-pop stars will not be exempted from mandatory military service under the government's new guidelines on conscription waivers, the culture minister has said.

Since early this year, a government task force has been working to revamp the guidelines to raise fairness in military conscription, and the final result is due for announcement this week.

The government has been facing rising calls to allow BTS a military service waiver, which is often given to global award-winning athletes and classical musicians, in recognition of the septet's role in promoting the national image of Korea across the world.
