Freak out

It should have been you - February 2020 [Omona exclusive]

Sometimes execs and labels just fuck it up and pick the wrong song to promote a debut/comeback.
And it's up to us to find those hidden gems, that might otherwise be burried under countless songs.
Every month I'll try to look back on girl group and female soloist release (I don't have time to waste on boys) and try to find out the song that should have been "IT" but was overlooked.

What's my expertise on this?
None whatsoever.
It's just fun & games but to paraphrase the great Eugene Lee Yang

"I'm right, you're wrong, shut up, discuss in the comments".

Shincheonji founder apologizes for virus spread, vows full support

The founder of a minor religious sect at the center of a rapid increase in coronavirus cases in South Korea on Monday apologized for the spread of the disease and vowed to fully cooperate with the government efforts to combat it.

"As the representative of Shincheonji followers, I sincerely apologize to the public," Lee Man-hee, founder and leader of the Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, said in a press conference just outside of Seoul. "It wasn't our intention, but many people were infected."

He bowed down on his knees before reporters in the middle of the news conference in Gapyeong, some 60 kilometers east of Seoul, as a number of protesters shouted insults and slogans demanding Lee take responsibility.

BTS has achieved a career best on the Billboard Hot 100 chart!

On March 2 local time, Billboard announced the Top 10 for this week’s Hot 100 chart. BTS grabs the No. 4 spot, which is their highest ever ranking on the chart and the highest score for a Korean group.

This is BTS’s third song to rank in the Top 10 of the Hot 100. Their previous highest ranking was No. 8, which they achieved with “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey last year, while “Fake Love” debuted at No. 10 in 2018. BTS now has the most ever Hot 100 Top 10 songs for a Korean artist, surpassing PSY who has two (No. 2 with “Gangnam Style” in 2012 and No. 5 with “Gentleman” in 2013).
