YGE shares they will be deleting the nurse outfit scene in BLACKPINK's "Lovesick Girls" MV

"This is YG Entertainment.

We have decided to edit out all of the scenes with the nurse uniform in BLACKPINK’s “Lovesick Girls” music video, and we will replace the video as soon as possible.

While working on the music video for a long time, we did not expect this issue to be raised because [the scenes] had no specific intention to them. We feel greatly responsible for this and will consider it an opportunity to deeply learn.

We relay our apologies to the nurses who felt discomfort, and we once again express our respect to all healthcare workers who are working hard for the sake of the health of the citizens.

Thank you."

RIP Jin's pink glittery mic, you'll be truly missed 😞
I love how they try to perform in different sets and ways to spice it up. Western can't relate.
Jungkook in his cozy sweater on Yoongi's rap. Lil meow meow wearing the Converse he hates so much but his sweater is cute.
I'm wondering when will they hate performing "Dynamite" though.
The teasers were filmed during the ON promo, so they mean nothing, but look at them teasing us Blood Sweat & Tears when we know the ugly truth. But I oddly like the music.

Losses from the new coronavirus in South Korea's culture, sports and tourism industries were estimated at 10.7 trillion won (US$9.2 billion) in the first nine months of the year, government data showed Wednesday.

The figure, which measures losses incurred from a plunge in tourists and cancellations of sports and cultural events during the first three quarters of the year, was included in data submitted to the National Assembly by the cultural ministry for an annual parliamentary audit.

Back on civvy street: Three K-pop stars discharged from military

SHINee's Key, 2AM's Jinwoon and VIXX's N returned to civilian life on Wednesday after completing their mandatory military service. The three were discharged after enjoying their final leave and did not return to their base due to coronavirus concerns.

"I am back in good condition as I promised," Key wrote on SHINee's online fan community Wednesday. "Thank you for waiting for me. Please look forward to my future plans."

Jinwoon said through his agency MYSTIC STORY: "I truly appreciate my fans for waiting for me and I hope we can meet up soon."

"I learned a lot of things during my service," N said on his Instagram. "I give my support to those who are still fulfilling their duties. Thank you for waiting and supporting."

The three enlisted in March 2019 and joined the military band.

Reality shows respond to COVID-19 in creative ways

Many TV networks in Korea were on high alert when the new coronavirus swept across the nation early this year. Some of their most popular shows were forced to halt production after staff members contracted COVID-19.

For them, the pandemic brought both fears and a big opportunity, as people spent more time in front of their TVs as a result of social distancing.

To keep the shows alive, the networks have come up with creative ways to get around the setbacks ― and thrive.

✨ Gone But Not Forgotten: BOYFRIEND ✨

In this series I want to go through groups that are gone, but not forgotten. I will go from debut till disbandment or [indefinite] hiatus, remembering the time we had together and look back on their highs and lows.

Boyfriend was a South Korean boy group formed by Starship Entertainment in 2011. They were the first boy group to have twin members. The group consisted of Kim Donghyun, Shim Hyunseong, Lee Jeongmin, Jo Youngmin, Jo Kwangmin, and No Minwoo. May 17, 2019, Starship Entertainment announced that Boyfriend had disbanded.

Surprise! 🌟 Little change from all our beautiful ladies. I've been listening to Janus a lot lately and I really wanted to do them. I hope you all enjoy a little change of scenery so to speak ;).
I really liked Boyfriend, they have so much talent and it's really unfortunate that Starship didn't give them what they deserved. The group that was once seen as Exo's rivals ended up not even making it on The Unit... Starship really gave up on them, especially once they had Monsta X. I feel really sorry for them.
Still, I'm happy they found some success in Japan and they have a discography they can be very proud of.
Did you enjoy Boyfriend? Do you blame Starship for what happened? My favorite titlte tracks are Janus and Witch, but I like them all. Let me know yours?

Wonho does the 8-Bit Melody Challenge

K-pop king WONHO is here to play our 8-bit lyric challenge. We're playing him the basic melody of a song, and he has to guess the lyrics. We threw all our faves at him, like Shawn Mendes's "If I Can't Have You," Harry Styles' "Watermelon Sugar," and so much more. Be honest: Could you beat the "Losing You" singer at a game of 8-Bit?
