The Boyz to return with 6th mini-album in August

K-pop act The Boyz is gearing up to release a new mini-album in late summer.

The 11-piece act will roll out its sixth mini-album in August, according to its management company, Cre.ker Entertainment, on Monday.

It is the group's first mini-album since its appearance on Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War," a popular competition show featuring six high-profile K-pop boy bands: BTOB, iKON, SF9, Stray Kids, ATEEZ and The Boyz. On the program, which ended earlier this month, The Boyz grabbed the No. 2 spot with its engrossing performances, after only Stray Kids.

Cre.ker said that more details about the mini-album, such as its title and the track list, will be disclosed in the coming days.

Blackpink in your cinema ah ah

Insert picture description

Blackpink will celebrate their 5th anniversary in August and for the occasion, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa are busy bees and will release not one, not two, not three, not four BUT FIVE projects for the occasion!

First project will be a movie released in cinemas in August. Lots of Blinks fear this is going to be "The Show" (the group's online virtual concert in January) in 4K.
Remember that Netflix released "Light Up The Sky", a documentary about Blackpink's rise to fame in October 2020.

I want to believe the movie will be the group's project and then all the girls will have their own solo project, one of them being Lisa's solo? But then this is YG. Jennie posted a IG post in April with the choreographer Silvergun hinting a new solo project.

I'm trying to keep this somewhat contained bc there's just a lot of content floating around, and the more I postpone doing this post the more new stuff appears aahh!

the drama seems like it's doing a lot atm but you know I shall be watching nonetheless lol

the Making Of stuff is fun, the main cast seems to have great chemistry, and esp Jisung seems like such a fun, charismatic guy

also Jinyoung's new photoshoot looks fantastic so far
