Jinwoon & Jo Kwon celebrate 2am's 10th anniversary

On July 11, Jeong Jinwoon posted a picture of him and Jo Kwon in front of an advertisement that congratulated 2AM on their 10th anniversary at a subway station. The fans had put up the ad as a gift, and the two singers showed their appreciation for it.

Jeong Jinwoon said, “thank you so much! It’s bizarre to think it’s been 10 years already. We want to thank you for staying by our side and rooting for us all these years. And we ask for your continuous support in the future, as well! This time, I’m posing for the pictures with Kwon hyung. We hope that all four of us can soon appear in front of our fans together. Until then, I will focus on my solo activities!”

Furthermore, Jeong also shared a brief statement through his agency, Mystic Entertainment. The singer said, “I can’t believe it’s already been 10 years. The time flew by so quickly. Seeing the advertisement at the subway station was surreal. In the past, the four of us would have gathered around to have a party, or live broadcast as if it were a part of our promotions, but now we are very casual about it. We have definitely become more relaxed.”

He concluded, “we feel nothing but sorry and gratitude towards all fans who await our comeback. It will be a while until the four of us can reunite, but we will focus on our solo activities until then.”

Furthermore, Jo Kwon also took to Instagram to share his gratitude. He posted an album cover picture of their debut single “This Song,” and said, “10th anniversary of 2AM. Debuted with “This Song.” Thank you.”

Meanwhile, Jo Kwon recently announced his military enlistment date. CUBE Entertainment reported, “Jo Kwon is enlisting in the military on August 6. After completing the basic training, he will receive his assignment as an active soldier.” The representative further explained, “the singer wishes to enlist quietly. Thus, we have decided not to reveal the time or location of enlistment.”
