Baby V.O.X member Shim Eun-Jin sues stalker for online attacks
On the morning of July 11, Shim Eun-Jin posted a public warning towards a particular stalker/malicious commenter. This post alerted the public for the first time about the continuous attacks the former singer/actress has been receiving for years.
Shim posted the screenshot of the malicious comment that accused the actress of having a sexual relationship with actor Kim Ki-Duk. Following the picture, she commented, “even after the first warning, you have yet again committed another foolish crime. I want you to know that I have no intention of being lenient or making a compromise with you this time.”
Furthermore, Shim Eun-Jin’s agency reported to the media that the company has taken legal action against the stalker. Imagine Asia Entertainment said, “we plan on taking strong legal action against the people spreading false rumors, defamation, and sexual assault towards our artist.” They continued, “we have been continuously monitoring the comments and gathering the data. We are filing the criminal complaints, today.”
In addition, Shim Eun-Jin had to clarify that “Kim Ki-Duk” in the netizen’s comment was not the film director Kim Ki-Duk. The name belonged to actor Kim Li-Woo, who had changed his stage name from Kim Ki-Duk.
In fact, actor Kim Li-Woo joined forces with Shim Eun-Jin to make sure that this commenter would receive the punishment they deserved. The actor said, “for two years, this stalker has been attacking me and my business. They first appeared in our lives when they started stalking my friend two years ago. However, after my friend tragically died, they changed the target to me and Shim Eun-Jin. I’m just a close friend of Shim Eun-Jin from college.”
The actor continued, “I have sued this particular netizen three times in the past. The first time, we made an agreement, but after continuing with his act, we had to take strong legal action. I guess they haven’t learned their lesson, yet.”
After the news released, the stalker asked for forgiveness. They commented on Shim Eun-Jin’s Instagram post, “I won’t visit your Instagram anymore. Could you not sue me? I thought you would forgive me in the previous lawsuit but you didn’t, and I got mad and took it out on the wrong people. I’m sorry.”
Despite the begging, Shim Eun-Jin seems determined to show the proper consequence to the wrongdoings of the stalker.
"Could you not sue me?" bitch please
