Loosely based on the popular 2015 romantic comedy film of the same name, “The Beauty Inside” will tell the love story of Han Se Gye (played by Seo Hyun Jin), an A-list actress who must spend one week out of each month living in someone else’s body, and Seo Do Jae (played by Lee Min Ki), a brilliant director of an airline company who suffers from prosopagnosia (the inability to recognize other people’s faces). Han Se Gye is a top actress who is praised for her chameleon-like acting abilities, nicknamed the “100-sided beauty.” But because of the secret she harbors about her changing face, she is followed by countless rumors and scandals.
Lee Da Hee will star as Seo Do Jae’s ambitious stepsister Kang Sa Ra, a beautiful and intelligent career woman who is determined to get ahead, while Ahn Jae Hyun will play the role of Han Se Gye’s loyal friend Ryu Eun Ho, a kind and peaceful soul with an innocent, positive energy. Although the two characters could not be more different, they find themselves inexplicably drawn to one another after crossing paths. While attempting to suss out her stepbrother’s weaknesses, Kang Sa Ra ends up learning Han Se Gye’s secret, which Ryu Eun Ho has faithfully guarded for a long time.
