JTBC is remaking a popular Japanese drama series “Legal High”

On October 18, a source at JTBC reported, “we are remaking the Japanese drama series “Legal High” aiming for a premiere beginning of next year. It will air following the end of ‘SKY Castle.'”

“Legal High” first aired in 2012 on a Japanese channel Fuji TV. It is a comedy drama with background set in a courtroom, featuring a passionate lawyer named Komikado Kensuke, who is willing to do everything he can to win cases. It also features another character named Mayuzumi Machiko, a hard-working rookie lawyer with a strong sense of justice.

Meanwhile, writer Park Sung-Jin of KBS’ “Detectives in Trouble” have confirmed to write the script, collaborating with director Kim Jung-Hyun of MBC’s “Gu Family Book.”

Ahahah, I loved this drama. Especially the first season. Will be interesting to see how closely they follow it. Assume there's no casting decisions yet, but damn Nam Goong Min would be perfect as Komikado lol.
