Lee Na-Young, who had gone under hiatus from the drama industry for the past 9 years, has finally confirmed her return. The actress will star in the upcoming tvN romantic comedy, “Romance Addendum” (literal translation), in partnership with Lee Jong-Suk!
“Romance Addendum” tells a story of various people working at a publishing company. This drama not only features Lee Na-Young in small screen for the first time in 9 years, but it is also Lee Jong-Suk’s first romantic comedy since debut.
In the drama, Lee Na-Young has taken on the role of Kang Dan-Ee. She once used to be a flourishing copywriter, but has lost her touch in the field. Ultimately, she gets hired Cha Eun-Ho (Lee Jong-Suk)’s publishing company and starts her new beginning.
On the other hand, Lee Jong-Suk will take on the role of Cha Eun-Ho, a genius writer who is also the youngest publisher at the company to become the editor in chief.
Meanwhile, the drama also gathered much attention for who will be directing and writing its script. Director Lee Jong-Hyo and writer Jung Hyun-Jung have decided to join forces once again. The two has a history of working together for the famous “I Need Romance” series. Moreover, director Lee Jong-Hyo also directed hit-dramas, such as OCN’s “Life on Mars” and tvN’s “Good Wife.”
Lee Na-Young said, “the script, from which I could feel the warm heart and humors of writer Jung Hyun-Jung, really touched my heart. I’m also very excited to be working with director Lee Jung-Hyo. Above all, I’m very thrilled to greet our audience for the first time in a while with such a heartwarming piece.”
