Jennie to perform solo track for first time at BLACKPINK concert

On October 22, YG Entertainment revealed, “The decision has been made to reveal Jennie’s solo track during the BLACKPINK concert.” It had previously been reported that her solo debut track would be released near the end of the year, and the agency explained, “We made the decision to respect Jennie’s desire for fans to be the first to hear her solo track. With not much time left till the concert, Jennie is working hard to prepare for both the group performances and her solo stage.”

Although not many details have been revealed for Jennie’s solo debut yet, the release is expected to be close to the concert dates. BLACKPINK’s first ever Korean concert, titled “In Your Area,” will be held on November 10 and 11 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena.

YG Entertainment recently revealed that BLACKPINK is preparing solo releases for each member, on top of new music for the group. Yang Hyun Suk explained that Rosé would be the next member following Jennie and stated, “We will show that BLACKPINK’s greatest strength is that all four members’ individual talents are as strong as their bond as a team.”

Oh, I forgot they were having a concert. Isn't their number of total songs still in the single digits?

I remember someone on Omona saying it's going to be like an hour of cover songs. I guess they should use all of the new material they have for their concert.

they have 9 songs so like... i guess the rest are a ton of covers or this will be shortest concert ever.

Yikes, I just did the math while looking at their apple music page and they have 44 minutes of music total (and that includes the acoustic version of "Whistle" too)

so they definitely need to pad out that set list.

They performed a couple songs twice in Japan and everyone had two solo songs/medley each.

Dang, they're really stretching it.

I hope for the concertgoers it isn't like and hour of
whistle
whistle (acoustic ver)
whistle (edm ver)
whistle (trap remix)

or something like that.

9 songs, yeah. 10 if we're including Jennie's track.

Oh yeah, I remember that. It was their setlist for their Japan tour lmao.
