BTS's Jin is rich, purchased a villa in Seoul's most expensive apartment building for $1.69M

Omona, what is the biggest purchase you've ever made?

Yessss I'm so happy for him! I hope he went full old man mode and purchased the place below their dorm so he can hit the ceiling with a broom whenever anyone is making too much noise.

Yay! More privacy for he and his...friends :)

Good for him. Real estate is a great investment.

Most expensive thing I’ve gotten was a car for my dad.

kicking_tenshi 20th-Nov-2018 01:18 am (UTC)
Uh. University tuition

Edit: Oops! Didn't mean to reply to your comment! Your expensive purchase is really sweet and I hope my parents never hear about this bc I'd be damned

"i'm so sick of rich people!" says this broke bitch.
my biggest purchase so far has been in LTFs. mostly for tax exemption purposes.

He went from making dad jokes to being a real CEO drama prince, I love it XD. I'm just laughing at the fact that we learn things about Jin when everything is done and all (like the restaurant). He is truly amazing ✨I'm waiting for him to buy half of Big Hit in 10 years tbh. Come trough MariaJin!

Why do I feel they end up buying the whole building, so they doesn't have to separate, ever.
Growing the next genearation of BTS there.

The most expensive thing.... hmm not much, just my set of desktop PC. But if it doesn’t have to be an item, probably my trip to Japan lmao.

Elaborate me omona, idk much avout finance but I heard if you want to buy an investment and especially a property, you should never pay in cash? I remember Some ppl saying it’s better to split payments bec your savings can multiply in deposit while you slowly pay installments, price value will keep going up too while your installments will stay in the same value throughout the years. Also bec you can use the money for something else at the same time.
And if it’s electronics or cars, the resale value will decrease so it’s better to pay in cash.
What do you think?

It depends what the interest rate on your loan is. Let's say you buy a house and the interest rate on your loan is 4%, but the money you're putting into an investment account makes 7%. In that case, you're better off making loan payments and saving whatever you can into the investment account, because you'll still come out ahead by 3% (7%-4%=3%).

Another example: Let's say you buy something on your credit card and that credit card has an interest rate of 19%, and your investment account is making 7%. Then, you want to pay off the credit card as fast as you can, because you'll lose way less money in the long run.

Electronics, I would definitely pay in cash. Why go into debt for something that's not a necessity? Just save up and buy it. A car just depends on how good of an interest rate you can get imo.

Jin is fulfilling my fantasy of being an in real CEO / chaebol heir.

Someone please cast him in a role :(((

Get that paper boys 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The biggest purchase has to be furniture for the apartment I moved into a few months ago. I’m splitting the costs with my bff but it’s still quite a lot of money. But as a one item that I bought on my own then that’s my laptop.

goshipgurl 20th-Nov-2018 01:02 pm (UTC)
BTS have earned 8 million bucks so far this year, each of them. He could buy one of these for each of his bandmates

Forgot to mention:
*netizen voice* There's no need worrying about celebrities.
jaelissi 20th-Nov-2018 04:15 pm (UTC)
Most expensive thing I've bought was a car. I'm getting ready to add a story to my mother's house
mandm13 20th-Nov-2018 09:45 pm (UTC)
I feel dizzy when I see those huge figures...! Glad to contribute to this purchase with my money even though it's a tiny amount lol

I think my biggest purchase would be my second-hand car, followed by my master's degree and all the money spent in the dentist lol
dot_rose 21st-Nov-2018 03:44 am (UTC)
Wow Congrats to him!
Sidenote: in C.A.S.H!? Is he carrying a dufflebag when he purchased it?

Biggest Purchase: My cellphone ........unless my tuition counts...
modestgoddess79 21st-Nov-2018 03:55 am (UTC)
He probably wrote a check
rainstormraider 22nd-Nov-2018 04:33 pm (UTC)
In cash implies without resorting to a mortgage though it would be a nice image of Jin rolling up with 2 duffel bags of cash being carried in by his peons Jungkook and Jimin.

Being able to buy something like this in a way like this is more than I could ever comprehend.
All those saying that Jin was in college i.e. fully immersed in the hook up culture before he was scouted and how he hard it must have been for him wanting to bring girls back to his fully occupied home (and YG occupied room for years), well, here's a not just financial investment for you all
