I usually don't really side with the companies BUT this is really a good trend. Bring back the 4th wall because honestly, it should have never been down. People need to be reminded that words have consequences sometimes. Telling your opinions is one thing and it's perfectly fine, spreading hate, malice and truly damaging stuff is another.

I wonder what kind 'malicious comments' that will be taken into legal action, I still think it's quite.... reaching? Is that mean we can't criticize these idols? About spreading false information I can understand, but malicious comments (eventhough it's bad according to human moral standard) is something that's supposedly categorized as freedom of speech, isn't it?
It's like saying "KHJ is a criminal" but then you get thrown into jail bec he was never arrested, therefore you spread ~false information~

I think it's more for stuff like harrassing family members or that dude who said he would fuck Kyulkyung's corpse.

Ah that one makes sense! I legit thought they would take actions to literally every malicious comments... because I think in Big Hit ones mentioned about 40,000 comments (or emails? I forgot which one) or so, that they're currently investigating. I just think the horrible comments like mentioning someone's death are not that... uhh many? :/
Or i just never saw something like that..

Idk but if you're out there reaching for your idols with their personal phone numbers for example, it's a crime, even if it's for kind words. There's a limit that shouldn't ever be crossed. I don't know what's the deal for Pledis here but I have in mind what happenned with Tablo a few years ago for example and even if it was only words, it was seriously damaging for him.

I think this is more of a flex move mentioning all the submissions. I’m assuming this will be focused in Korea and perhaps Japan. I don’t think BH has the resources to litigate everything especially not in the West where liable laws are completely different. Again I’m assuming the comments they will go after are things they can prove are demonstrably false that are a threat to their artists reputation. Like piecing together false information to accuse someone of being literal Naz!’s and disseminating said false info to media etc.. I’ve heard reports that many accounts online that were spreading that info have deactivated or deleted. So the press release could of also been a stop gap measure to halt anyone else from continuing to spread false info.
