For me I was watching random tv show clips and the body swap clip from Rainbow Romance was on (Super Junior's Kibum and Heechul starred in it) and the comments were talking about Heechul and so I looked up the group and there were comments of Heechul looking like Miyavi (who I was much more familiar with me) and then that led me to looking up their music so my first song was Super Junior's U and it was just catchy enough for me to look up other stuff. The rest was downhill from there

Honestly our history of kpop is quite similar. Except I got into DBSK and SNSD before SNSD, Suju had already released Don't Don just before I got into them. And I only checked them out because of Jrock lmao.
I was also a fan of Key first and then Jonghyun and then the rest (back when Key was more of one of the main dancers) and then the hiatus after the so-called 'golden era.'

For a while I was only keeping up with SNSD and SHINee but then I got back into kpop when Jonghyun passed away because watching/listening to Sechskies made me feel better and then this year I started listneing to GOT7 etc.
