I’m not sure if you can get Columbia (brand) clothes in your country, but they’ve kept me warmest when I visit family way up north. They’re right in the same temperature range. They sell these hats with reflective lining that really do make a difference in how warm you feel.

Other than that just layer for your life lol. Wearing a cami or tank top under your long sleeve layers helps more than you realize. Personally I’ve had more luck with hunting socks than wool socks.

we have columbia and north face lol, but mostly i'll be borrowing coats from relatives who spend half their time in Canada, so they have actual winter clothing. honestly my issue is that it seems kind of silly to buy boots for my mom when we're only going to be in cold weather for 5 days, but she might need them...
i'm probably going to be layering thermal tights with thermal leggings with wool socks so i think? my feet should be fine lol.

Do you get a lot of rain? You could get some duck boots- cheaper than snow boots and mostly made for wet conditions. It would be easier to layer warm socks in them than sneakers. Llbean and Sperry are the two most popular brands but you can find dupes basically everywhere.

Here’s some from wish lol
