Apparently the Amsterdam ticket prices start at 166 euros.. jesus. I can't figure out the London prices yet, but am definitely not gonna be able to go if it's that expensive.

People who know more than I do: how do they fill an entire show with only around 10 songs? Do they do covers? How long are their shows?
chimpansee 28th-Jan-2019 10:41 am (UTC)
166 euros would be insane, I think even the BTS tickets started at lower prices than that (and even then around 80 euros, which is ridiculous but not unheard of for kpop acts in Europe). I'd considered going but nah, not for that price lol.

I'll consider going if it isn't too expensive! wonder which venue they'll pick
Edit: apparently it's Le Zénith! aka super close to my flat :D really hope the prices aren't the same in Paris than those rumored for Amsterdam

They are going to the Zenith, that's cool! The ticket sale only starts on 5 february so we'll see the prices then. I hope they don't get overboard. I like them but they are not Celine Dion.

There's really no need in going unless they drop a full album before the tour. I love BP but I'm not spending money for a concert with 9 original songs and a few cover songs
lil_poisonfrog 28th-Jan-2019 02:42 pm (UTC)
This is where I'm at. Those 9 songs could each be pop masterpieces and I'm still not paying that.
lil_poisonfrog 28th-Jan-2019 02:45 pm (UTC)
The tour is sponsored by Kia and Blinks should remember that. Bc in addition to paying ridiculous ticket prices to begin with, I bet there will be advertising during the show just like there was at the Korean concert. YG's album sales are so shit they're making up for it by charging y'all to be advertised to ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
nekobot 28th-Jan-2019 03:05 pm (UTC)
I was really hoping the sponsor element would mean the prices would be more reasonable (like with Big Bang/Samsung) so this is such a letdown...
au9042 28th-Jan-2019 02:59 pm (UTC)
That's an insane price...
sweet16een 28th-Jan-2019 04:02 pm (UTC)
166 euros for like 5 songs, 5 remixes of the same songs and random cover songs haha

This sounds like a cash grab to me
blck_ink 28th-Jan-2019 04:54 pm (UTC)
yg, just give them a full album cause it's starting to become embarassing.
goshipgurl 28th-Jan-2019 05:07 pm (UTC)
Some fans on twitter are trying to justify the prices, that they aren't even that expensive and whatnot, but most seem pissed. This could really backfire on YG.
lizanka23 28th-Jan-2019 05:16 pm (UTC)
i really hope it does because if fans keep buying tickets yg won't see a reason to change and to actually give them an album
lizanka23 28th-Jan-2019 05:20 pm (UTC)
not from europe but i was curious to find out what their concert consists of and it sounds disappointing af. sure maybe if you're not paying for it yourself it's ok but if you're using your hard earned money to buy tickets then it just doesn't seem worth it
jessi_cola 28th-Jan-2019 06:52 pm (UTC)
Why are they holding the London date MIDWEEK and during exam season and in Wembley arena which is a mission and a half to get to???

I would probs go if prices were reasonable
sforza 28th-Jan-2019 10:59 pm (UTC)
they got wembley? damn, impressive, but yeah wembley is hell to get to and out of by car if you park in the main car park (i went to see coldplay in 2016 and oh my god we were stuck getting out for an hour, it was chaos)
mc1a 28th-Jan-2019 09:25 pm (UTC)
I like the girls but honestly lyric videos have more charisma than them
blck_ink 28th-Jan-2019 11:23 pm (UTC)
not the lyrics videos 😭😭

I was planning to go to their show in Barcelona because lately kpop groups, when coming to Spain, are going to Madrid but... It's on a Tuesday night and tickets are quite expensive (139€ for pitt and 59€ / 89€ / 129€ for seating, plus adm. fees; VIP packages prices aren't up yet). And it doesn't affect me but most of their potential public will be studying for finals. Also - Sant Jordi? It's a huge stadium, if this was the only stop in Europe they could fill it but all things considered either they use half of it or it will be half empty.

I'm actually trying to stay optimistic but... Imho this wasn't well planned :/
shazz_chan 29th-Jan-2019 08:07 pm (UTC)
I'm planning on going if tix aren't too ridiculous, they still only have 9 freakin' songs after all.

Bang Yongguk's most pricey ticket is £120 and you get hi-touch, a photo with him and early entry at least for that... and we know he's bringing out an album before the gig here.

A week's notice with no tix prices is also a no, YG.

They booked stadiums to hold the concert in....??!!
