BTS lose out on Best Recording Package Grammy

a win was a longshot. tbh a nom in the first submission year was a longshot, but they got that much. the foot is firmly in the door now and that door is gonna be blown off its hinges later on. like that first bbma, this is a start.

I didnt care for the album cover personally but I also get confused af trying to follow any of the storyline for their stuff so 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hope this paves the way for more kpop album noms! The packaging shits on other albums.

It sounds fair, cuz competition was steep, most of the designs nominated were really gorgeous, I’d say beyond what LYT’s designed delivered on its own. But then again, St. Vincent’s? There were others whose designs were more impressive...

In any case, I hope they have fun this evening!

this was my opinion about the whole nomination tbh the packaging design, layout and photoshoots for each version weren't that great. BigHits done better.

I think they deserved to win but I get why they didn't. Lbr, it's not a requirement for the voters to even have seen/listened to any of the albums...St. Vincent has been an indie darling for a while and has only gotten more popular in recent years...I wouldn't be surprised if she had more name recognition to begin with

Masseduction had such a strange concept so I wasn’t into it. It was not deserving of winning but what do you expect from the Gracistmmys.

The others nominated were better than either BTS or St. Vincent tbh.



Btw, where is Lay? Have they panned to him looking lost in the audience yet?

Mte. The one with the Chinese design with the fold-up traditional paper for the booklet deserved to win, for me. That one was stunning.

I never got the hype over the LY album packaging. The design was unsubtle and boring. That being said, I hope Husky Foxx and Big Hit can leverage the nomination in the future! It's crazy that BTS' name alone was able to even get them nominated.

Man I’m just happy for them! I figured they were the longest of shots but hey, it’ll forever be a Grammy nominated package so good for everyone involved. And BTS looked so great presenting - I shrieked at home when they got on stage!

It was a long shot tbh. It’s still amazing they got nominated. Husky Fox must of been very proud. Hopefully this is just the start of Bts at the Grammys.

Seems like they had a lot of fun, they were really happy to be there so it was all worth it (including them being the desperate attempt for ratings). And they looked on point.

I love the LY concept, so much I tattooed the heart on my foot a month ago 🤷🏼‍♀️🙊
