i'm so confused by all of this. didn't he sign the contract like 1 month ago? did he not have a lawyer look at it then?

that's what I've been wondering. how did anyone let him sign without a lawyer he hired looking over a contract?

How bad is the contract, these agencies get away with so much
rainstormraider 8th-Mar-2019 04:27 am (UTC)
And his agency is trying so hard to muddy the waters that it makes them look even worse.

OP iirc it's expected that idols bring their parents to contract negotiations instead of lawyers. I can think of specific examples with SM artists but I'm pretty sure it's common throughout the entire industry. It's fucking bullshit ofc

I’ve heard that but I assumed it was on top of lawyers or in addition when the idols are underage???? Why would no one else want their own lawyers to look over it!??? Tf?????

(Thinking out loud here you don’t have to answer lol)

I don't know a ton of details but I think it has to do with the seniority hierarchy. I think these trash companies take advantage of it to intimidate idols into not having proper legal representation so the company retains leverage in the "negotiation". Bc they are dealing with CEOs and other reps that are obv a lot older and higher up the company.
