Burning Sons 2nd mini news round-up for today

Darren Wang's agency to take legal action against rumours connecting him to Jung Joon Young's group chatroom

Taiwanese actor Darren Wang is the next to take legal action about malicious rumors.

Rumors about the actor arose due to photos that he took with Seungri, including one taken at Burning Sun in January.

On March 14, his agency posted via social media, “The malicious rumors regarding Darren Wang that are circulating online are not true,” and added, “He is simply friends with Seungri, and he did not perform any immoral acts.”

The agency added, “We ask for the false rumors to be deleted and no longer be spread and circulated. We will take legal action for the protection of his rights and interests.”

Meanwhile, Darren Wang is set to arrive in Korea on March 21 to promote his film “Fall in Love at First Kiss.”

Lee Chung Ah's agency files request for investigation on false rumours tied to Jung Joon Young
On March 15, her agency Kings Entertainment once again reiterated that she only filmed a music video with Jung Joon Young in 2013 and has no other relations with him. However, groundless rumors have still been circulating, and the agency “can no longer ignore those who harm the image, honor, and character of the actress.”

The statement explains, “In addition, also for the sake of the many other celebrities being harmed, we judged that it would be best to take strict action. Through the law firm Moonmoo (Head Lawyer Jo Soon Yeol) as the legal representative, we decided to request a highly intensive investigation about the initial writers of the rumors and those who spread and circulated them.”

The agency submitted a formal request for investigation to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency through the law firm on March 15.

“As series as this matter is, we will take strong legal action without any settlement or leniency for the protection of our actress’s rights and interests. We will also work to take strong legal action so that additional harm is not received in the future,” the statement concludes.

Fan community asks for Lee Jong Hyun's removal from CNBLUE

Following revelations of CNBLUE’s Lee Jong Hyun being involved in an illicit chatroom with Jung Joon Young, some fans have requested Lee Jong Hyun’s removal from CNBLUE.

On March 15, a statement was posted on the DC CNBLUE Gallery demanding his removal. They mentioned that “Lee Jong Hyun has forgotten his duties as a public figure, a CNBLUE member, a singer, and as a person, has caused public criticism, and has tarnished the images of CNBLUE and FNC Entertainment.”

The statement continues, “He was revealed as a member of a controversial 1:1 chatroom and he forgot his duties as a public figure when he continued such acts like saying remarks that objectify women without any restraint. He is consistently being silent without giving a genuine apology or self-reflecting. While the argument regarding the illegality of Lee Jong Hyun’s actions will be revealed through the police investigation, we cannot accept and be consumers of Lee Jong Hyun’s activities considering the social perceptions of sexual assault and the fact that the majority of the fandom is comprised of females.

It concludes, “We strongly demand as of March 15, 2019 that Lee Jong Hyun be removed, not suspended, from the group. However, this is unrelated to the opinions of the CNBLUE members. We will respect the members’ opinions.”

Earlier today, FNC released a statement regarding Lee Jong Hyun’s controversial chats with Jung Joon Young. Previously, FTISLAND’s Choi Jong Hoon decided to leave FTISLAND and retire from the industry after his messages in a chatroom with Seungri, Jung Joon Young, and more were revealed.

Military Manpower Association gives official response to possibility of Seungri delaying enlistment

The Military Manpower Administration has released an official statement in response to Seungri’s announcement of requesting the postponement of his military enlistment.

The following is the full statement:

The Military Manpower Administration hereby gives the following statements regarding singer Seungri’s (full name Lee Seung Hyun) delay of his military enlistment.

There are no legal grounds that grant the Military Manpower Administration the power to postpone the enlistment date of a person who has been notified to enlist.

However, if the person has reasons that prevent him from enlisting on the scheduled date and thus makes a request to delay his enlistment date, [the Military Manpower Administration] will review whether or not [the date] can be delayed in accordance with Article 129 Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Military Service Law.

For your information, there has been a case in the past where one made a request to delay enlistment for being under investigation and [the request] was approved.

The following are possible grounds that allow postponement of enlistment according to Article 129 Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Military Service Law.

1. A person who is unable to fulfill his military duty due to an illness or mental disorder.

2. A person whose family member residing in the same household, such as his lineal ancestor or descendant, spouse, sister or brother, is greatly ill or has passed away, and thus requires him to care for the family member or make funeral arrangements.

3. Omitted through No. 7

8. Person who has difficulties carrying out his military duty for other inevitable reasons.

Police identify officer with suspected connection to Seungri, Jung Joon Young and more

A suspect has been identified for the police officer with ties to members of the controversial chatroom including Seungri and Jung Joon Young.

It was first reported on March 13 that there appear to have been potential connections, and the Commissioner General of the Korean National Police Agency backed up these allegations. Additional messages and evidence of corruption were revealed by SBS.

Suspected figures including Kang Shin Myung, former Commissioner General of the Korean National Police Agency, and Lee Sang Won, former Commissioner of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, denied involvement.

Seungri, Jung Joon Young, former Yuri Holdings CEO Yoo In Suk, and a former club employee were questioned from March 14 to 15, and they identified the “police chief” in question to be someone of senior superintendent rank.

The police has summoned senior superintendent officer “A” as a suspect. He is being questioned about interacting with the individuals involved including Seungri and Jung Joon Young and whether he misused his power to assist them.

Disciplinary action for “A” will be considered once the results of the investigation are released.

Eddy Kim (singer)
Choi Tae Joon (actor)
Darren Wang (Taiwanese actor)
Josh Carrott (famous YouTuber)
Tyler Kwon (SNSD Jessica's partner)

Lee Hong Ki (FT Island)

*keep in mind that just because they or their agency denies, it does not mean they are not involved, as was evident with both Choi Jong Hoon and Lee Jong Hyun. To be cleared, a non-biased source must confirm (such as by a reporter). Especially true about those who have openly been close to either (or both) Seungri and JJY for years.

1) Seungri (formerly of Big Bang)
2) Jung Joon Young (former singer)
3) Choi Jong Hoon (former FT Island)
4) Yoo In Seok (ex-CEO of Yuri Holdings)
5) Mr. Kim (former club MD of Burning Sun)
6) Kwon Hyuk Jun (SNSD Yuri's big brother)*
7) A currently unnamed former YG employee**
8) Friend of JJY (appeared with him on a show)***

*Kwon is Mr. A in most reports
**Most likely Mr. B, named Mr. Heo
***Mr. C; Choi Tae Joon or Josh Carrott(?)
-> the last two are still unconfirmed identities.

Apart from sending each other pics & videos of unaware, drugged, raped women, they allegedly also ran a legit prostitution ring:
> Mr. Yoo was the main "provider" of women (and took care of keeping stuff low-key)
>> Seungri distributed said women to the clubs/"events", both in Korea and abroad
>>> Jung Joon Young "bought" same women for his own "entertainment"
>>>> Mr. Yoo even sent "an expensive slut" to JJY as Xmas present
>Mr. Yoo also made CJH's drunk driving incident "go away"
>>Kwon was kicked out of the group after caught doing drugs
>>>Mr. Yoo was the one in contact with the unnamed police chief

!i!Please note that there are several other chatrooms, both groups and 1-on-1, with even more people involved, including Lee Jong Hyun and Yong Joon Hyung.
The initial chatrooms were from about 8 months in 2015-2017 and contain tens of thousands of messages. More is expected with the newly obtained phones.

Oh Hyuk Jin
- Political journalist who first reported on Burning Sun. Has said he will release more info in 4 days* and went "dark".
Has previously worked with and again working with Noh Seung Il. (*about 2-3 days left now)

Noh Seung Il
- Oh Hyuk Jin mentioned him, saying he was assisting Hyuk Jin with the Burning Sun work.
He's credited with being the first to report on the corruption of Choi Soon Sil.

Kang Kyung Yoon
- First reporter on the Kakaotalk chatrooms of Seungri and Jung Joon Young; received the messages from lawyer Bang, on the request of the informant. Also met victims.

Bang Jeong Hyun
- Lawyer who received a chat document from an informant and sent it to the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (as opposed to the police). He also shared them with Kang Kyung Yoon (see above). https://twitter.com/ahenemfwkfwlso/status/1105829209098907649?s=21

There's also a Madam Shim involved, but it's hard to get info about her because apparently she has high-up friends who get the news erased.

Oh Hyuk Jin said now that he won't drop anything in set date, because one of his informant stopped contacting him.

Frankly I have issues with this guy, he popped out of nowhere, made claims on Instagram, and isn't connected to one of the reputable source like other people who start the whole thing like JTBC (who actually broke out BS assault case), SBS reporter Kang, and lawyer Bang who represents the whistle-blower. Has anyone know anything more about him?

Sorry, I'm busy researching about Madam Shim, but I'll try look it up later.

Please, don't apologize, it's not to criticize You. I just feel uneasy about this guy, but hey it's just me and I might be wrong in the end. It's just bother me that I don't check it out by myself, because I don't know Korean.
