OMONA'S FLUFFY TAKES

You can stan this cutie here

The nomnomnominations for the pet competition was a success and I have a lot to go through, so while we wait for our furry babies to make a comeback, and keeping up with the 'Omona needs no male' mood, here comes the second installment of omona's fluffy take over: the fluffy takes.
Pretty much like vintage_boom Hot Takes, but make them fluffy (good vibes, positive vibes, happy vibes), and preferably women centric.

ex: Homan moms who prefer cat over dogs are queens and that's a fact.

Unrelated Kitty Proposal:
As a third installment of the fluffy take over, I would like to get your opinion on a "woman of the month" serie.
The goal would be to have a post focused on one queen of the k-industry.
We would need a part based off facts: bio, debut, achievements...
And a part more personal to the writer of the post: dream comeback, dream concept, dream album, hidden gems (b-sides no one talks about)...

Names like BoA or Uhm jung Hwa come to mind. But also LE or Hyolyn
I realize this is a lot of work but if you're interested in writing a post like that PM me.

PS: I might have nine lives but my inbox doesn't, so I'll turn off the notifications. Sorry >.<

I've been so bitter with everything going on recently but I love this post idea and will try my best to stay positive!

I know he's a male, but I just wanna say I'm so proud of Daniel for hiring lawyers and standing up for himself against a huge ass corporation even though I wasn't a fan previously. I hope more idols understand their worth and feel courage to stand up to these disgusting CEOs that treat them like expendable objects. In my ideal world idols would be unionized, but if that can't happen, this p much the next best thing.

Same goes for Hyuna and E'dawn, I really hope they find success with Psy's company. They're cute af together.

I feel like I've said this here before, but speaking of Hyuna, she's just such an icon. I don't even listen to that much of her music, but there is literally no one else in the industry like her. A true rebel tbh.

IU is someone else I have a lot of respect for. She's so successful and rich but still manages to be a good person?? Apparently at her last contract negotiation she didn't ask for higher pay for herself but only for her staff. An idol of the people! And brilliant lyricist as well.

I hope Crayon Pop is one day considered the Shangri-Las of Kpop. Meaning, a short-lived group that only had one or two hits, but their daring to go against the norms of the time makes them super influential to artists decades later.

I'd like to extend my appreciation for idol groups' main vocalists. In some groups they can be overshadowed by other members who are better dancers/more charismatic/more eye-catching on stage, or they don't get enough attention because they may be considered lacking in "visuals" or not as "fun" as other members in variety/broadcasts, but they hard carry the vocals in live performances which is no easy feat.

On a related note the lead/second main vocals need more appreciation too. They may not be as strong powerhouses as the main vocalists or have softer/lighter voices that don't get to belt out many notable high notes, but they are dependable and provide great support and in some cases can even rise to become main vocalists or soloists.

I just have a soft spot for vocalists in general, for both girl and boy groups, and think they deserve more love. <3

Well said. I agree! Do you have fav main/leads? While she’s not in a group and not in Korea anymore really, I always thought Zhang Liyin/Jang Ri In was underappreciated as a vocalist. Her first solo album is excellent.

i don't know if i'm doing this right but i'm just here to talk about how much i love chungha

i never watched produce 101 and only got into ioi after seeing them live at kcon la in 2016 and boy am i glad i did because that introduced me to the love my life, miss kim chungha. seeing her grow as a performer and explode into popularity over these past almost three years has been so amazing to me. i've loved all of her comebacks and i'm always excited to see what she's going to do next. she has such a captivating performer with amazing stage presence and her performances of 'gotta go' and her cover of 'black' show that she doesn't need super crazy and exhausting choreo to just OWN the stage. she just has some magic about her that can't be taught. and i love how sweet and dorky she is, how much she loves her fans, her friends, her dancers and her staff. she's so grateful and humble and i'm so happy i get to call myself a byulharang. <3

I've never checked out IOI like at all, but I came across Why Don't You Know one day and kind of liked it. I enjoyed Rollercoaster even better and loved Gotta Go the best. She really does possess that 'it' factor that not many people have.

i don't really get the concept of this post (sorry!) but i'm all for fluffy so i'll just talk about something very random;
i live in a very small village of about 1600(ish) inhabitants, but we are quite animal centered, a lot of people have a dog
we also have a lot of birds, horses, cows and sheep and for as far as i know 8 donkeys! (which is a lot here, people don't really own donkeys)
and... we have a LOT of cats, like a LOT.
i go for daily walks in my village, usually between 20~35 minutes depending on my condition + the weather, when i feel really poorly i sometimes count cats i see OUTSIDE (so not inside people's homes, they do not count lmao), my highest count is 36 cats during 1 walk (lowest is zero, crying). Isn't that amazing? haha
usually it's somewhere between 5 en 15+ though. but isn't 36 amazing? it made me feel so much better

also off topic question; when are we going to do best female stage outfits?
i want to nominate my queens: T-ARA (for Roly Poly, Yayaya and So Crazy)

I would love to live in a neighbourhood with so many animals! At 4.30 every day the park outside my house gets FILLED with dogs and it's really soothing.

i rate my days by how many irl cats i see so i'd be over the moon seeing 36!
