easyNeon posts Jennie "Kill This Love" inspired makeup

Beauty post?
I've been emptying my makeup collection and kept only one (1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) eye shadow palette and a bunch of singles, 4 blushes, but way too much lip product. I am contemplating buying some of the Matte & Metal Melted Shadows from Huda Beauty. Anyone tried them?

I barely wear makeup anymore these days...generally I can't be bothered. But I was at a larp this weekend and I put some on before leaving because I was running late and I rrally liked it, so I might do a little bit more every now and then. I only own one eyeshadow palette (naked) but will stop using it when I run out (esp since it's discontinued lol) and buy singles of the shades I like. I do have a lot more lipstick than I need but that's fine, I like having them to choose from and I don't tend to only stick to a few shades.

I enjoyed Jennie's makeup in this but particularly in her scene with Lisa. I feel like there's not a lot of experimenting with makeup atm in kpop.

The Sephora spring sale started this weekend right?

Why are all the Asian products so much more expensive there than on YesStyle and other online retailers? It’s ridiculous.

Is it this weekend?? I wanted to try some cocofloss and pick up another shade of the urban decay lo fi lip mousse (it works great as a subtle lip stain).

And yeah kbeauty stuff is way more expensive thru Sephora and Ulta.

I was honestly obsessed with this look in the MV but I don't think I have the skills to pull it off + don't think it would look good on me. I have so much makeup at this point that I've been avoiding buying it. I have enough moisturizer and toner to get me thru the rest of the year so the most I'll be purchasing thru the year is maybe more sunscreen and a lip shade or two.

tbh, if you even have a cheap sparkle-y liquid eyeliner you could do something like this! i'm sure you could pull it off, too :3

Doing a no buy/product changeover for make up, skincare, and hair products so not buying anything for while but doing a research into what formulas I'd like to try when something runs out has been kind of fun.

Same here.

Last year I decided to stop buying new make up/skin care/shampoo's to empty out my cabinets and just get a clear view on what works for me and what does not. I'm still tempted to get certain products if the packaging is pretty though lmao

I am totally impressed with you limiting yourself to one palette! I could never do that. I have so many palettes already, yet I'm still all MUST HAVE MOAR PALETTES NAO! when I know perfectly well that it'd be cheaper to just buy the 2-3 shades I like as singles instead.

The "new" Naked isn't a heckuva lot different from the original, IMO, apart from the one bright coral shade. It's basically just different shades of brown and tan, as I try to remind myself every time I want to run out and buy it. I haven't tried that particular Huda palette but I know that's a really good brand (...if we're judging by how much it costs at Sephora, anyway).

I would LOVE more k-beauty posts! The semi-local store where I recently bought my first-ever SHINee CD is mainly beauty products and I would love to know more about them, but all the packaging is in Korean so I'm clueless. Apart from the double-eyelid tape, which I know I shouldn't have been shocked by, but I was. It looks so uncomfortable!

If you wanna check out other kbeauty products, I definitely recommend heading over to r/asianbeauty

I think a Kbeauty/skincare post in the style of an FFA would be awesome

Update: I tried the Huda shadow in store, they're drying as fuck
too bad cause the liner part are fun but I can buy a glitter eyeliner for 1/2 the price so...
snowphone 29th-Apr-2019 12:16 pm (UTC)
yeah my friend told me they're no bueno

i'm supposed to be on a lipstick no-buy because i probably have like 60 lipsticks but the new bite lip stains are so tempting..

also the 3ce eye switch in petal is available on yesstyle.

my rouge haul was mostly refills besides the nars voyageur palette in quartz and a jo malone perfume.

Petal and dalsegno both look so good
EDIT: petal is out of stock >.<

I really like this look but wasn't able to figure out how it was done (glitter liner, pigment, etc.), but rhinestones is a really creative approach!

I love makeup and I'm trying to get the most out of it before the weather gets hot and humid here. I stick to Glossier mostly and I'm tempted to buy their lidstar shadows as my first time going into wearing eye shadow. If I'm able to look good with it I may try something from Juvia's Place.I want to do fun but simple looks in the summer.

Has anyone tried Milk makeup? Is it any good or should I stick to glossier?

I also need to get back into my skincare routine. I've been looking rough i feel like and my melanin can only take me so far. I want to splurge on that Drunk Elephant Lala Retro whipped cream because that was probably the best moisturizer I've ever felt in my life.

the glossier lidstars are very sheer, even on pale skin so double check their return policy in case you don't love em. The milk liquid pigments are much more intense in comparison.
